After new owners came to Etherdelta and launched ICO, they made some changes in policy of listing new tokens. Now new projects need to buy Etherdelta tokens for about 0,1-3% of the amount they raised and hold it for a half of year.

The Global Revolution in Trade Finance

The revolution in Trade Finance is here. It is happening now and it is being led by ModulTrade – an innovative project, developing a global platform which may soon revolutionize the cross-border trade across the world. The team’s bluechip background in commercial banking and commerce meant they understood the workflows and risk profiles, and being entrepreneurs saw the potential of how blockchain technology could deliver a transformational experience and operating system.

The key insight that the team landed upon was the use of smart contracts and how their application in a closed network would act to cover both the purchase and consignment of goods in real time. Advances in tracking systems and wider improvements in blockchains – the team have settled on the Ethereum network – meant that once the underlying architecture had been specced out, ModulTrade were able to move quickly to deliver a minimum viable project and engage with the potential customer.

Since launching the vision for the platform in September 2017 the team has found themselves in continuous discussions with both investors and businesses who seeing the potential of the system have been keen to become customers and backers of the project. In particular in Asia, in the emerging “One Belt, One Road” economic region the reception has proved to be overwhelmingly positive. That would a possible scenario, we do not know what the future of this project but if we invested on it we just have to believe they will do
everything to satisfied their investors by making this project a success. The ICO is not over yet and I think more investments will com as there is still
a little time left, that would help a lot.

In addition to the statement from MT, there is no other confirmation of partnership. In general, participation in the ICO is always a matter of trust. Here, the development team has a working marketplace. This is already a great advantage for investors.

Give the team a break, they have just done a tour through China to forge partnerships. The beginning is the hardest, trying to convince manufacturers to put their wares on a yet unknown marketplace with blockchain tech they have probably never heard about, let alone experience with. Once there are several pages of items on the platform it will be easier.
