Friends, I would like to hear constructive criticism, some feedback.
What do you think is wrong with the project? The accusation that Token is too expensive, for me, seems not entirely justified. Maybe I'm not so long ago in the crypt community and I do not understand something. But, I have more than 15 years of banking experience, an MBA in finance - I know quite well the theory of money.
In the end the nominal value. If you want, I can make the Token cost 10 cents. What will change from this? Except, maybe, the marketing appeal to those who are poorly versed in the matter.
For example, one volume of comics in our application will cost 5 dollars. Now in our Tokens, taking into account the 10% discount, it will cost 0.45 ComX. Now in our Tokens, taking into account the 10% discount, it will cost 0.45 ComX.
If we make a Token cost of 10 cents, then one comic will cost 45 ComX. That's the whole difference!
There in our Russian topic, I understand the reaction of people. They historically do not understand what comic books are and what is the financial potential in this sphere! Here, it seems to me, people should understand the prospects of work in this direction.
Thank you for attention.
Well, most of the people don't think your project will survive because their knowledge of "comic books" is limited to memes with the trollface or something like that. I really love comic books and I'v read your whitepaper. You poited out a couple of reasons why the market of comic books on electronic medium is so weak, but you forgot to mention a major one. Readers just don't like to read comic books on laptop or mobile screens. That's it. Also many readers like to have a collection of comic books and for this purpose a material medium is required. So even me - the guy who really likes comic books - don't think your project will give something to the culture. Sorry.
Thank you for your feedback!
These questions are easier for me to answer, because I know them better than the questions of the ICO organization (I hope it is also correct in the near future). :-)
It's true that the market for comics on paper and digital comics is not yet comparable. Although the latter's share, in such countries as Japan is already great, and most importantly continues to increase.
That is why, our main product around which we build our entire business, is not just another comic book reader. This is a completely different product, which is aimed not so much at comic book lovers as the market for learning foreign languages.
As for comics on paper, we also will be able to enter this market, with the organization of marketplace on blockchain.
