Decentralization Guarantees Freedom of the Art
Very interesting. How do you plan to do without intermediaries? Agree on rentals, agree with the actors. This is the task of agents, which means intermediaries.
I see private sales and Iico starting in March until May, but there is no information about how much money is earned is here? Has the Filmgrid reached the softcap? Hello, how is it going? Let me share the token distribution dates: PRIVATE SALE

Very interesting. How do you plan to do without intermediaries? Agree on rentals, agree with the actors. This is the task of agents, which means intermediaries.
Keep in mind this is truly independent filmmaking, and the ideal scenario (once the platform is in track) should work like this: - All movie-makers (e.g. directors, actors, makeup artist, cinematographers, etc.) participants should be members of the platform, as Creative Users.
- If the project leader/s have already their contacts to start their Creative Team they can do so, if not, they can look for more movie-makers in the platform.
- To make a decision on which participants to invite to the project, the Creative Team can use the "Social" score from each one of the users (e.g. Applause, Ovations, Critiques).
- The invited Creative User can do the same to make the decision to participate or not in a specific project.
- The agreement will be registered in the Production Smart Contract, that should track participation, payment, dispersal dates and percentage of income, in the case the negotiation include it.
Therefore there is no need for agents to control the meet ups, payment arrangements and specially, without keeping fees. Always in transparency. Now, when it comes to rentals, I don't know if you mean equipment rentals or the actual end product rentals, as in distribution deal. - Equipment Rental. Online rentals can always be found without any agent intervention, also for locations; although we are planning to ad a new type of member to the platform, Provider User, that would be a mix of Creative User and Investing User, someone that could let the usage of equipment of its property in exchange for either a payment, or percentage of revenue; depends on agreement. This is still in blueprint and is not yet part of the platform project.
- Distribution. The main offer (and original project idea) is to create a peer-to-peer marketplace, where Creative Teams can put independent movies for sell and rent to Viewer Users at a reduced price.
All detailed information can be found in our White Paper

soo are you wanted to make ur tokens popular for movies industry huh? this kind of tokens is very a new thing for me. hope your goin well until ur wish achieved.
Thank you for your words. More than trying to get popular, we follow a simple dream, which is providing the moviemakers a fair alternative to make their movies, having the creative control over them, keeping most of the profit; and for those who like to buy movies, we want them to have them at a fair price and to never lose them. No more Hollywood rules.

KYC required for the ICO or bounty?
Depending on requirements, I may be interested in the signature bounty. Assuming there is no KYC, that is...
Not that I am adverse in theory to KYC, just that it's probably not worth risking it for a bounty that may or may not pay out.
Hello, KYC will apply for ICO, since is a direct token sell; however for bounty will not apply cause is a reward. Cheers!

Will FILM sell IEO after pre-sale? because I see on the road map there is no schedule for the IEO. Even though IEO is trending now and many tokens are sold.
I think there will be no IEO for this project because I see ICO will still end August 31, 2020 and it's still very long and we also don't know 2020 whether the IEO is still trend or there will be more trendy sales than IEO Thans for pointing that out, precisely the reason why we are evaluating in detail if it is feasible to make the change, since a large part of the strategy depends on the second phase of ICO, since it is exclusive to form the production fund that would be used for the production of film projects inside the platform.

Hi there, In the original plan and strategy an ICO was considered, we are evaluating and in talks with a few exchanges to determinate if we change ICO for IEO, if so, we will notify in every communication channel we have, including an independent ANN here. IEO was not a "think"when we design our token distribution and we just don't want to change without thinking it through.

Hello, thank you so much for reaching out!
The token, ICO and the DApp will be built on top of the Ethereum Network.
Cheers!

Decentralization Guarantees Freedom of the Art
Hello there, Different to movie coin, we are not looking to partner with studios and film distributors, we actually want to be as far away from them as possible. This project is for independent moviemakers that don't want to be involved in the Hollywood-like accounting scheme; our business model removes the Recoupment Waterfall and the non-creative interference. If a Creative User already has a movie, they can choose put it up for sale and receive income right from the first sale, they don't have to wait the considerable amount of time (up to 5 years) that the Recoupment scheme has, since there are not intermediaries collecting there cuts first, only the automated deducted platform fee. If a Creative User wants to finance their project, they can one of the 3 methods offered: - A Production Fund, where the crowd, in this case the platform users, will decide voting upon the catalog of projects in display on the Pitchboard which ones will get part(or total) of such fund. One or more projects may be funded in each round.
- A Presale, where the user can buy the movie before it is made, in order to support its Creative Users with the production of the project. These users will be called Patron Users.
- The help of a Production Pool made by users that are interested in movie production. These Investing Users get the opportunity to take part in the financing of the project, in exchange for a percentage of the profit generated by the product.
In order to control the delivery of the product in deadeline and quality, a smart contract will be always in control of the funds provided for such production, releasing portions of the fund according to an initial set up where the Creative Users must register expected milestones. At each milestone, the Creative Team must document and upload the progress of the film’s production to the platform, this material will be available only to the Filmgrid Team, the Patrons and or Investing Users, who may supervise the production of the film and will have the option to call a vote to cancel funding if the results are underwhelming; if consensus is reached to cancel the funding, remaining funds in the dispersion contract at the time of cancellation will be distributed in equal parts among corresponding Patron Users, or in proportion to the participation in the budget in the case of the Investing Users. Creative Users that get their project cancelled, will gain a bad reputation within the platform which will prevent them to gather more funds in future endeavours.
