There is no reason for prt to not reach 0.02-0.03$. So at 0.003$ it's either a bargain or dumb to sell. And you know it's the common belief when there is almost 700 million in circulation and not even 3 million on sell orders at this price. People don't wanna sell this cheap.

Hold. Because the new wallet is not even in beta yet (that will happen soon).

When I try to download the wallet it keeps saying "starting" but it doesn't start downloading.

Anyone else have this problem?

I don't trust that mirror site. If for example I want to use twitter to log in, it wants me to authorise an app that can change my twitter profile and post tweets from my account  Lips sealed

Bittick, do you have any plans already for the donation / marketing fund? I believe I'm the only one who contributed but I guess it should be enough for some stuff to go forward.

Will get back to you on that in about 12 hours. Have been pretty swamped lately, so didn't have time to sit down properly and write it all down in a post.
Apologies for the delay.
It is 01:40 AM here, so time to rest

So just out of curiosity, how many people are actively mining solo with CPU's?

How many people are actively mining with GPU's?

What are your average hash rates (doesn't need to be exact, an average is fine with me)?
Well I am pool mining but with 12 fx 8350 at about 900 khs each

No need for anyone to fix anything, just have to understand the rules.

For 'stuck sent transactions' just run your wallet from the command line with the --salvagewallet command.  It takes a while but it recovers all the sent transaction that failed because they are made up of too big...and by big I mean made up of too many incoming transactions not the actual amount of PRT sent.  Next time send less in a single transaction.  This is a common issue with Quark for miners that were on the P2Pool since they got many many many micro incoming amounts so I would expect the same with Particle.

Maybe a button for this thing or stuff like that in some "Maintenance" or "Control panel" tab of a wallet?

If this is going to be widely spread, remember how many non geek people stare at you when you mention "Command line"
It's like: "WHAAAT???"
Need to be careful with this though.  Some of these functions can be dangerous if you don't know what you are doing.  If its built into wallet some people will have tendency to just click on everything without understanding what they are doing...

Usually the issue when you have lots of micro transactions is that there is a limit to the number of inputs to a transaction, so you may get told you are trying to send too large a sum, and have to break it up into smaller sends...this is unavoidable with blockchain, but there is UI feedback for this situation and while an inconvenience it is generally easy to work with.

But as far as control panel...maybe we build UI but require a special command line argument to enable or something.  Make it not too easy to force people to think...
Maybe just include a warning prompt to ONLY use if that issue happened. Usually those warnings are enough to deter people from using blindly. Especially when dealing with their money.

I've been mining with my laptop for a while. Intel i3, 120 kh/s with 3 threads. Mined about 1000 so far Smiley
