Good day,

My wallet address is listed as one of the ILLEGAL.. And dis is very serious concerned. because all of that coins came from cryptopia trading which I hardly earned and invested. I CAN give u the withdrawal details and transaction id if needed. hope the dev. will tend this matter.

Thanks for reaching out. I'll communicate with you on this matter via PM.

What my problem is? Well nicely asked like this - here is the clear answer (although it seems obvious to me).

My problem is Cryptopia has revealed (copy - pasted, actually) a private conversation in a public forum. This private conversation had some elements that had not been published yet, as per the Dev's plans, and were probably to be disclosed in an ordered and clean manner at the proper time.

Now we know, that craptopia does not respect private conversations. Careful what you write to them privately, it could end up public domain!

Sorry you feel that way? But given the circumstances I find your position slightly suspicious if I'm perfectly honest. I repeat, nothing the conversation indicated that the content was confidential, and our actions align with the instructions we were given so what is the reason for this outrage?

Editing the blockchain is a very very serious issue that deserves transparency and attention as the flow on affects have consequences beyond the owners of the private keys in question.

so you'd all forget what just happened?
cryptopia wouldn't be here in this thread if all these things weren't as serious as hell.  did you really understand why its being delisted?
the balances didn't match and there were changes to the blockchain. this could mean the dev took Pesobits god knows how much and then concealed it by editing the blockchain.

I trust Lutzow and I think PSB is a worthwhile application of Crypto to an everyday social need, in the Philippines and also possibly elsewhere (Mexico, etc...): the remittances.  The people who stole PSBs dumped their stolen PSB in the markets and this has resulted in the ridiculously low price we see today. Hopefully, those low prices won't last.

Something had to be done, and quickly. I think Lutzow did the right thing, and I am sure such a deep intervention in the PSB Blockchain won't happen again. I hope the thieves will be reported to the authorities quickly.

The plan makes sure all PSB owners who bought legally their PSB, will get them.

Even the mighty Bitcoin had its share of manual intervention before it became bullet-proof: http://www.coindesk.com/9-biggest-screwups-bitcoin-history/, so let's not play holier than thou here...

WOW! A cryptopia official publishing publicly a confidential conversation between Cryptopia and the PSB Dev.

Nice Cryptopia, very nice.

Lesson learned: with craptopia, your confidentiality is public domain!

Nothing in the support ticket suggested the content was confidential. He acknowledged that this course of action would result in delisting and instructed that our users be notified to contact him directly and that he would also make announcements around this. Hi Everyone,

The initial plan in the shift to the new blockchain is suppose to be smooth, redistributing the new wallet and new pesobits to the addresses that everyone can see in the block explorer but since cryptopia won't update their wallet we'll have to do auditing for their users.

1) For Cryptopia users:
- As stated earlier you need to send a screenshot of your balance to [email protected].
- We will open another online wallet for you which matches the old blockchain so you can send your pesobits there then it will be replaced by the new Pesobits with PoSP (you will receive instructions on your emails as soon as everything is ready for that migration)

2) Pesobits in other exchanges, just let it stay there for now until further notice as we'll be waiting for them to update their wallets.
3) Pesobits in the Online Wallet, have nothing to worry as it will be shifted to PoSP and everything will be the same for you guys. Staking earnings will be increased as well.
4) Pesobits in other systems like coinomi or coinpayments, we will be supplying them with new wallets as well.
5) Pesobits in Desktop Wallet, a new desktop wallet has been created. PoSP will benefit Desktop wallet users as you may get more than the old model's staking earnings without changing the rate of inflation of the coin so it still remains at 5%.

6) As for the news regarding Pesobits who got out of the Online wallet illegally, Eduardo (the ICO page and the online wallet creator) is investigating how there were unregistered withdrawals from the Online wallet which I found out while we are checking the transactions directly from the blockchain in preparation to the shift to PoSP. We've identified the addresses and the email addresses and as a corrective measure will edit the blockchain so those Pesobits will not be usable. And this change in the blockchain is what caused Pesobit to be delisted from Cryptopia (same reason why ETH got delisted). To clarify, programs and database were untouched based on our logfiles and security checks so all data are still safe as the problem could be a bug on the online wallet creator's code. One thing is for sure, all Pesobits will be replaced with the PoSP-version and we will be focusing first in auditing the Pesobits as well as migrating all the wallets.

7) So what's next after the PoSP migration? Projects will continue as usual as business license has been renewed, business meetings will resume to bring in more usage for Pesobit and many more.

The 'Illegal Pesobits' as what I call them is a big challenge and as much as I want to blame or point fingers as to how and why it happened I'd rather focus on providing resolution and overcome this hurdle. It's not on how hard you fall, it's on how you stand up and be better and Pesobit will surely do so with your support.

More announcement will be released as to what needs to be done with your old Pesobits, just look back to items 1-5 as to what needs to be done..

Ccex is far better platform than cryptopia,  it is more friendly user than other platform. it's not a big deal to me if it's  delisted in cryptopia.
agree, PSB will not be affected as i think at C-CEX, trading there is far better than cryptopia or novaexchange.
PSB must continue, dev is making some actions to make the better PSB, we needs to be optimistic and hold our coin, except to the coins at cryptopia that needs to be transfered to other site (if the withdrawal is enabled).

Sad about the news. I'm comfortable trading at Cryptopia and I've traded a relatively large volume of BTC-PSBs there. I like their platform, it's not confusing. Won't be the same when PSB gets delisted...
We just need for the dev to show up and give formal details about this concern i know he's ready to give statement as we see him working at he background its just need some extra information so the community who's still supporting will be updated. Keep it up

not sure how they can explain all these. a violation to the protocol by altering the blockchain can't be fix unless the hardfork is already done. i'm not making this up. why do you think they ask for that screenshot on your cryptopia balances? so they can send how much you have? oh my.. can i make a request to send me 100k PSB please.

i usually fud around for every ICO being a scam but this is the pronouncement of cryptopia.
cryptopia isn't as harsh as telling us all they stole some PSB but did they really stole some? we are about to find out.

An exchange site delisting a coin when there are volume still isn't as normal as it is. Can you tell us more that does "illegally transferred Pesobits" mean and "changes to historic transactions" because I can see there are more to it.

Volume has nothing to do with it as far as we are concerned. I can't tell you anything more about what "illegally transferred Pesobits" means because I don't know, you'll need to ask Pesobit, you've been given all the information we have.

"changes to historic transactions" - Rolling back transactions that have been confirmed on the network, editing the blockchain.

That's  so sad! I love pesobit trading at cryptopia! In fact, I still have so much funds there...

We're shifting to a new blockchain, we will be using the current balances of the blockchain. Those with balances in cryptopia need not to worry.
No need to send your PSBs to another wallet, here's what you can do.

1) Make a screenshot of your PSB Receiving address in Cryptopia, under Balances, that will also show your current balance then email to [email protected].
2) The online wallet will be reactivated with the old blockchain so you can send out your old Pesobits then it will be replaced with the new PoSP Pesobits
To those who have sent out their Pesobits already, please do the same including the transactions that your sent out your Pesobits and where it was sent to.

Further instructions will released once we have the new wallets ready for distribution.

i have more than 165k+ PSB  in cryptopia.  i never had an online wallet before.  can i just  transfer  my coins in my ccex wallet?
