I would go on the safe side and keep your wallet.dat and PureCoin.conf in your %appdata%\PureCoin folder and then start the daemon. I wouldn't start it without the .conf file.

MineP.it are in sync with this chain
FYI http://pure.poolest.com deleted the entire wallet dir and resynced with the updated nodes and we are on block 249. That leads me to believe that this is the correct fork...
