Awesome work elmad, mining at a steady 900-1000khash with only 1 i7 3770k now, before i was mining at around 600 Smiley

ok thanks for the info. My xeons Nehalem does not have AES / AVX instructions :/ "only" SSE4.2 - too bad Sad

Last minerd from ig0tik3d have SSE2 instruction. Do you think there can be a gain with SSE4.2 instructions ?

All version crashes, except minerd-s2-3s3-aes wich launch
6/10 boooo

i5 640

The improved miner is using AVX2 instructions.
Your i5 640 doesn't have that instruction set (check: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Core_i7/Intel-Core%20i7%20Mobile%20I7-640M%20CP80617004152AE.html at "Feature Table").

For example, the i7-4770 has the AVX2 instructions: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Core_i7/Intel-Core%20i7-4770.html

Hi!

Here are the results, quick test. I let it run for 15mn, because KH/s take some time to rise at it's maximum.

 Kiss# Xeon E5-2687W (Sandy-bridge E) x 2 :
before : 2072KH/s (32 threads)
best result with minerd-core-i7-avx 32thread : stable @ ~3150 KH/s
with 64 thread instead of 32 : oscillate between 2800 to 4000

 Kiss# I7-3930K @ 4.8GHz (Sandybridge):
Before : 1072KH/s
minerd-corei7-avx : oscillate between 1600 - 1700
minerd-core-avx-i : oscillate between 1500 to 1800
minerd-s2-3s3-aes : stable @ ~1650
minerd-s2-avx-aes :stable 1680 KH

 Cry# Xeon L5530 2.4GHz (Nehalem) x 2 :
Before : 700KH/s
All version crashes, except minerd-s2-3s3-aes wich launch, bind thread and return to prompt.

Great job anyway !
will send some Q2C Cheesy

We need some stats (like cgminer does) : is there a way to exctrat those from minerd ?

EDIT : rejected ratio seems normal.

I know the voices in my head aren't real.

Ok. You and the others interested... Can you test if I send you a binary? Linux or Windows?
Source code?

If it does not use any bitcoin code (or any other opensource), please could You confirm this?

I use sourcecode from ig0tik3d miner, plus an other library from another author. I reworked these codes to work  togheter. It will be opensource for sure.

Any way, there are good news Smiley

I achieved 50% more khs/sec now!!!

Probably I'll release it today or tomorrow, with source code. I dont know yet if I'll release Windows binaries today. Anyway I need that who tries it, report me a feedback, because I tried it just with a i5 from a friend.

And, remember, it is just for AES-NI/AVX supporting processors.

Test and let me know Smiley

380-433kh/s to 500-523kh/s so 18-24% gain on i7-3770S's, sent some Q2C.

Thanks Smiley. Are using pc while mining? Do you compiled -march=native? With an i5 I achieved 50%.
I'm not using all cores as these systems are in use, using FreeBSD 9.1, march=native, static libraries and compiled with gcc 4.8. Likely BSD isn't as efficient as *nix.
