Ok, I would say, we have a winner with the logo. Give the coins to ltcrstrbrt.

But more important: How is the coin called. Make a vote:
1. Q2B
2. QBT
3. QBIT
4. Other

I am for QBIT!

Is the bounty still on for a website. Ahha and I are planning to overhaul his website and make a decent one with all the infos, references and such.

*Edit : If it's still on you understand we might spend more time than planned on creating a great website.

Current tasks and progress

-1. Find and wake Developers or do something with the coin control if Developers want to sleep until spring! =)
0. Detailed coin description with all its strong sides. An IDEA which makes this coin DIFFERENT. Guys! We still need IDEAS! First one is that the coin is STRONG.
0.1 Post what you consider a strong side and an IDEA of the QBIT
0.2 Vote for the main IDEA and several strong sides
0.3 Logo. We must have perfect logo. We need at least 5 options. Now we have 13! Guys! We need a voting poll!
1. Social networks Developers! 5k QBIT sent as social network community donation as promised.
1.1 Create communities subreddit and facebook ready, google plus and more to go
1.2 Invite friends, increase popularity
1.3 Perform a giveout/lottery/competition/etc
2. Site
2.1 Create site. Even a page for the beginning. Page created. Site is under construction.
2.2 Add wiki, forum, etc. Site is under construction.
3. Exchange and so on
3.1 Cryptsy. Make them to add this coin. Cryptsy thread active. We should force it after the site is created.
3.2 QBIT/USD exchange
3.3 Online wallet
4. Services that accept QBIT
4.1 Create a site that will accept QBIT. It can be even mobile phone payment site or VPN accepting QBIT. Any online service will be perfect.

So looks the beginning of QBIT moon program! And I like it  Cool

I know I'm not panicing at original dev's temporary absentee.  Dev's tend to disappear for a while and focus on code.  I know this because I'm a web-dev and I spend a whole lot time on writing code then on forums writing posts and replying to PMs.

keep calm pls  Cheesy

We all are waiting for original dev, but even if he had disappeared it's not a problem.
We like (me first and i think all) the fairness of this coin... now we stay at 28020 block and we are mining strong these days...
i believe that community will do everything necessary, even for find developers... we can pay in Q2C, we only need to trust in it.  Wink

So no panic and let's going to the moon, together!  Grin

We definitely need an active dev for this if we want it to succeed.  With scrypt asics on the horizon, people are  going to be looking for new algo's to mine with, whether it be CPU or GPU (also, there's a quark algo GPU miner that's supposed to become open source soon, wonder if it's applicable to this coin as well - edit:  nvm, just actually looked at the hash functions, totally different).

Producing ASICs is a complicated, costly thing. It will be only profitable, when there is a multi-million$ market (like Scryptcoins are). Btw, there are coins with Jane-Scrypt, which can't be mined by Scrypt-ASICs, too. For example Yacoin or QQCoin. When there is a GPU miner for Quark open source, I think it is not sooo hard to do that for Qubit, too (but it's an effort).
