I am not sure that we should change the short name to QBIT. That seems too close to QBT which was already taken. It seems like that would lead to unnecessary confusion.
For what is the "2" in "Q2C"? Yes, with 300 altcoins there are similarities. With 5 hashes I would have called the coin "Pentacoin" or "Pentagon".

Is the cpu-pool.net lagging?
Looks like cpu-pool.net is hosted in Russia and for some kind of reason it has been blocked. Thank you for the new f***ing russian law about sites. Now everybody can send abuse and site will be blocked for fake reason until the owner will prove that he is not a crime. Shit. Guys, don't host in Russia until the Internet laws will be acceptable.

Also mine. I have 10K of coins on the pool, tried cash out but nothing.
And more important last block found is number 20984 (now 21357)
I'm waiting news from ex_mac, who is the owner of pool i think ...

This is a nice coin and I can see this coin having a future, but it needs a Large and well ORGANISED Community, good marketing, promotion and BRANDING!!!
For branding examples look at Earthcoin, DigiByte and DogeCoin -- all of them are pre-mined shit-coins, but because of branding they managed to build quite a big communities.
My suggestions for re-branding: don't call it Qubit or Qubitcoin. Qubit sounds too much like Cubit, and this could often lead to confusion. The brand must be UNIQUE!!! And Qubitcoin sounds too much like "Bitcoin", and, in addition, there are already too many "coins" already (Litecoin, CasinoCoin, AnonCoin, WorldCoin, DogeCoin, PrimeCoin etc) -- we need something simple and UNIQUE!!! Call it simply
