Qubit Q2C was conceived as a currency with a Novel Agorithm : 5 hashes, with a different combination from any other Cryptocurrency.
The logo, a cube showing the ticker hash Q2C , represented the coin's name in simple graphical form, easily recognised at any resolution, from a tiny favicon.
The smooth functioning of the network, the algorithm, and fast transactions soon drew a good following.
The original developer, Krecu, stated that he was a Ukranian national. A short while after the start of the 2014 Ukraine troubles, he stopped posting, and was not replying to messages.
Q2C continued to function well, and follows its planned trajectory. Anyone who tried using the wallet was impressed with the speed and smoothness of transactions.

Coin is dead or alive?
Very alive. Difficulty around 500 atm, halvening hasn't affected net hashrate much.This is what I meant with the first post on this page, don't trust the FUD spreaders and false messiahs. The inofficial update we got by willowrose is totally compatible to the original client, there was no fork, a checkpoint was added and heartbleed bug fixed , everything is fine, no need for a fake revival.

We only added it because members of your community were of that opinion. You could as a community also combine your effort with the foundation to create support for several coins at the same time.
The wording of your poll makes it sounds like Q2C is close to dying/has died. That is simply not the case. I'd prefer you'd research if a coin is dead before including it into a revival poll. If a member of this community (aka anyone with a bitcointalk account) suggested it, it's because that member is either informed wrongly or has bad intentions.Quote

Difficulty back to 400 after a dip to 200 due to the block reward halvening on sunday.@Jonesd: Qubitcoin is neither dead nor does it need to be revived.
We only added it because members of your community were of that opinion. You could as a community also combine your effort with the foundation to create support for several coins at the same time.
