I was mining on cpu pool few weeks ago with my 2 xeon and doing about 4000 q2c/day with 2MH.
Now with the same hashrate after 1 hour I have done only 1 q2c.
What's going on?
I see on the list of the user a lot of people with 1GH ?? WTF???
We are mining with GPUs, which give more hashing power than CPUs.
I know you are having more hashes, but not so much more.
I think a xeon server is about 1MH and a GPU has about 2MH....not GH right???
Possible reasons:
1) Reward had dropped not long ago, now it is 512 coins instead of initial 2048.
2) Large quantity of powerful GPU miners is on scene.
3) Difficulty is higher.
4) Pool is unfair or unlucky.
5) Dependence between reward share and hashing power isn't linear. Winner takes the largest stake.
Thanks
I'm trying to mine now on http://pool.q2c.cc/ and I got 25 q2c in about 20mins. I think it was a pool problem.
