I don´t pay a single cent electric for btc mining. (Signature)

It took me since march this year to get positive ROI with Cloudmining (PB Mining) , SO even without paying electric it took over 5 Months (!)to have my invested money back.

there is an idea in the new IOS operating system, of a "hand off" that is device can transfer information from one device to next.. this is one of the apps I am thinking off you can transfer wallets/deposits tips thru this mechanism

hope RDD dev is reading this, there are enormous potentials tech is there community has been burned (but not exiting) market cap remains

not seeing 60 to 100 BTC sell/buy (depends in which direction you are looking) walls as they were before the fall (that was right in your eyes indicator), seeing 20 BTC so that's 1/3 and these are simply opportunity buys

learning a LOT from all this, if RDD had no future you would see people virtually abandoning ship and taking losses to preserve some element of their invested capital, not seeing this happening at all

Dont worry we'll get back there very soon, 9 - 10 is the bottom and it will skyrocket in the next 2 week. Actually it's a perfect time to double your stash at very low price, I have doubled mine already.

Don't get carried away. When you decided to buy any stock or coins, that should be a strategic accumulation.
Never buy a lot of them when you are in love with an asset/coin. First you should decide how much money you are going to spend for this.
Then, divide them into five different parts. Put 1 part first, them on weakness like this add more into position.
This doesn't mean that you only buy more when price is getting lower and lower again.
If you brought at 40Sat and after a dip the charts is showing a good breakout, you should add more into position even if the price is above 40Sat.
Also in case of crypto coins, keep an eye on the fundamentals like, developer team, their business plan, volume/capital of the coin, age of the coin, market liquidity, etc.
Fortunately all the above are positive for Reddcoin and you can now add into your position if you are capable.
These are the method to buy for long terms. Short term play is a different story and is not applicable in your case.

New to Reddcoin. I downloaded the current QT based wallet from the website about 4 days ago, installed it and transferred about 3 million REDD there from different exchanges. Had been keeping a check on it for the past few days to see if any PoSV coins had been added, but alas not a thing. Just now, for reasons unrelated to the Reddcoin wallet, I had to restart my laptop using the 10 second hold-power-button-down technique. To ensure the Reddcoin wallet wasn't affected at all, I'd exited that application first. But now after powering up I've found the Reddcoin Wallet app won't run. I get an error message as follows:

"Assertion failed!

Program C:\Program Files (x86)\Reddcoin\reddcoin-qt.exe
File: src/checkpoints.cpp, Line 285

Expression: mapBlockIndex.count(hashSyncCheckPoint)"

And I can see the main screen underneath the error dialogue box is saying it's out of sync by 28 weeks; what it looked like upon first installation.

I've copied the wallet.dat file so know that I can reinstall the application, resync and then copy my original wallet.dat back over the new one and all should be good. My problem is that I'm on a slow Internet connection via 3G and want to try to avoid the wallet needing to download all ~750mbs of the block chain again.

Can anyone give me any tips on whether I can retrieve this wallet installation without a complete re-install?

Furthermore, it's quite concerning that the wallet isn't robust enough to withstand this sort of typical PC reset. Perhaps, even though I'd exited the program, it was still running in the icon tray (I don't know, forgot to check) but surely an unexpected PC reboot shouldn't be able to throw the wallet so easily? Is there any sort of 'safe' mode one can start it in?

Also, it would be good to have some sort of visual indicator that the wallet is staking and the minting of new coins is taking place. To just be checking on it without anything to reference whether it's working isn't that satisfactory. Now four days later after this failure does it mean I'm completely back to square one? Has any of that time my wallet's been sitting there connected and on-line been captured and will it result in me getting my first coins faster or has all that time/work been lost?
