Why did you choose reverse ICO rather than venture capital or angel investing?
That's a great question!
For a revolution to happen in the car data industry, we found that building a community and reaching big crowds is necessary in order to push change in attitude towards data ownership. This is supported by the concept of an ICO, as project participation is open to a much larger crowd than when working with more traditional financial institutions.
Additionally, we believe that the decentralized nature of ICOs matches with our idea of utilizing blockchain technology to bring more horizontal control over data to the automobile industry. We believe that mainstream finance does not allow for a similar extent of transparency and shared ownership, and hence decided to go with an ICO to launch our new project!

In regards to the 'reverse ICO,' this is a great question as the term 'reverse ICO' is a very exotic concept to most of us. Basically, the Reverse ICO is very similar with the traditional ICO(initial coin offering) in that both offer coins as incentives for the use of, or contribution to a service. However, the difference lies in the fact that the Reverse ICOs are used by established companies. It is basically a tool for established businesses to raise funds and get into cryptocurrency. These are companies with existing products and services and have real customers. The reverse part stems from the fact the company changes the business model from a centralized and fiat based to a decentralized and cryptocurrency based model. There are two significant benefits to this change. By using the Reverse ICO, you can raise more funds which can be used to revamp and expand the business. In addition, you can also decentralize your infrastructure with a cryptocurrency. That puts the company in a better position to be part of the new token economy. Furthermore, decentralizing threat intelligence and utilizing blockchain technology will be the future of cybersecurity.Wow, this is a good answer. Thank you very much.
