In Regards to the Cloud mining:

I'm having some troubles getting it through, but before I ask any questions, I'll clear some things up for other fellow linux babies. OP's post isn't entirely cut and paste, so here are some things I learned.

First off, to create the new user, you don't copy and paste: adduser USERNAMEYOUCHOSE sudo

Instead you first must run "Sudo adduser "

Then follow it up with: sudo adduser USERNAMEYOUCHOSE sudo

Now, where I am stuck.

When I get to the complile/install section it calls for running: make -f makefile.unix
For some reason I get an error stating: bash: make: command not found

Any suggestions to get past this step?

miner@Miner1:~/riecoin/src/riecoin/src$ make -f makefile.unix
bash: make: command not found

Sorry for the confusion!!

Maybe you missed this line?
Code:
sudo apt-get install -y git make g++ build-essential libminiupnpc-dev

Hey man, thanks for the response. Seems like it got me a step further, but now after I run the make command, it biulds for a while then abrubtly ends on:

g++: internal compiler error: Killed (program cc1plus)
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
See for instructions.
make: *** [obj/main.o] Error 4

Effectively ending the whole process. I really hope this doesn't end up like another MaxCoin where all the Unix users who understand the technical complexity straight from the terminal aren't the only ones getting all the coins. I'll just sit tight and wait for a Windows build and run it off my 8 core i7

where is wallet??? where is devs?Huh WTF???

Same question on every launch for the last few days....

I hope they have it before the zero value blocks are done or it will be another fail of a possibly quite different an innovative coin compared to most of the last wave.

Whats the point of announcing coin over a week before if you cant launch it on time?

Just launch it and be done with it

Have some fun watching people asking the same questions 10 times in the same page?

To launch something is to start the process of something starting.  It does not mean everything will be there immediately.  It means devs will start process of rolling things out.  LMAO

If you think this launch has failed you completely please go home and let the difficulty stay low for me, the dude is still having issues / compiling it obviously and the first blocks are worthless anyway.

It shouldn't come as a surprise to the developer that he has to release a working wallet at the time of launch.

Software bugs are by definition unpredictable

Yes, and you can wait until you have it working before [ANN]'ing to the world that you have a product available.

Only Bill Gates got away with that - and only once.

Seriously you can't compare the crap Microsoft launches with the unknown crap that is waiting for us here.

so many whiners..

u do realize no one is getting a single coin until after 500 and whatever blocks right?

we have hours before you can complain about anything. You can't have a premine if the blocks don't contain any coins can you? REFREAKINLAX!

Maybe people have other things to do than sit here and wait that dev figures out how to a post link to the wallet?

where is wallet??? where is devs?Huh WTF???

It will be there , there will be devs , just go to sleep and dream of a better coin.

He could just upload the source code for the genesis block. We'll have the wallets compiled and uploaded in 10 minutes.
