5000 coins raised? Amazing... Spot on for the healthy development of this coin.
I think Antshares is amongst the top 4 most exciting  crypto projects this year.
The team and white paper is pretty impressive. Looking forward to seeing the impact Antshares will have within this sphere. Smiley

Bcnex - The Ultimate Blockchain Trading Platform
You can otc trade your current ico stake to someone.
But I suggest everyone to act cautiously.

What advice would you give to a buyer? As I see it, there are some issues a buyer might be concerned about:
- The garantee that neither the seller nor the escrow (if there is one) will claim the ANS attached to the private key once the ICO's over.
- The medium used to transfer the key that must be chosen so that no other party has access to the key.
- How would you settle a dispute in case many investors claim the same ANS address?

All these points seems to make it very complicated for someone to buy an investor's private key without fully trusting the seller, the escrow and Antshares.

This is an issue we will cover very soon and come up with a policy.

For now, be very cautious when buying ico private keys from others!!!
There is no such a mechanism for now that allows ico stake transfer from one key to another during the refund period!!!
You will need to transfer the claims enjoyed by the investor (his private key) to another one (the private key generated by the buyer).
We don't have this re-distribution mechanism for now! You bear all the risk that the key you are buying has been backed up.

But we'll soon come up with a policy covering this.
Yeah allowing tranfer of Antshares within platform would be great

i think this will make the process of development slow. At the end of ICO, user is just transfer the funds in the exchange.
and i think trade within P2P will be seldom because it is easy to trade on exchange rather P2P because of the risk of scamming. But transferring balance within the platform is a good idea. Smiley

True. there are really lots of people who will dump tokens by the time the coin is listed on exchanges, the rest of them are real dumpers yet the rest of them are also traders who are greedier that will buy back the tokens for cheaper price. These are the ones that will control in the end and most of them FUD to shake the holders with weak hands.

This looks like a very promising project.

5085 BTC ÷ 0.24 = 21188 BTC market cap

ico appears to be over-bought already

I learned my lesson from Waves, which was over-bought with a 30000 BTC market cap

I will wait to buy this for less than ico price when it hits exchanges

it's better to partisipated in ico and get a bonus
if you are waiting when it hits exchanges, you do not get a bonus and maybe you're late to get a lot profit.

ICO #1 (already completed on weangel.com)
2100 BTC ÷ [16000000 ANS ÷ 100000000 ANS] = 13125 BTC market cap

ICO #2 (current ico):
5085 BTC ÷ [24000000 ANS ÷ 100000000 ANS] = 21188 BTC market cap

There's a risk of the ICO #1 people taking a 100%+ profit and dumping on the ICO #2 people when this hits exchanges.

Not to mention the 50% premine, which will start to be released onto the market 1 year after ico ends, at a maximum of 15% per year.

The risk of ICO #2 people (24% of supply) getting dumped on by ICO #1 people (16% of supply), then after 1 year getting dumped on by the 50% premine, is just too high for me on this one.  Also there's 10% of supply held by "early contributers" who probably paid even less than the ICO #1 people.
nice calculation.

move that crypto
I am not scared about the first ICO.

Dumpers will always exist but if the project is great we can go to the moon!!!! Grin

It's very uncommon to see a big project where devs keep 50% of the supply, then an additional 10% going to "early contributers" (devs and friends)

People complain about Lisk "centralization" where devs control ~13% of supply (% will shrink when forging kicks in)

Here you have a small group of people receiving ~60% of the supply from the genesis block, and collecting thousands of BTC on top of that.

I'll be interested to see if the Chinese factor can overcome the absurd distribution.

I would not agree that these portions are "kept by the devs" as we have stated more than once this is for the promotion and ecosystem building for antshares project.

Like many other projects, the for-profit sub-entity is independently funded as Onchain has many other non-open projects with other firms.
For example, we announced another consortium chain the Legal Chain with Fadada (a legal service firm) and Microsoft 2 weeks ago.
And many more are coming soon.

So what is ecosystem building? an example would be the upcoming Developer Initiative, in which active members of the developer community will receive incentives for joining in the contributions to the open-sourced Antshares code repository.

And there are many others in this case, and we certainly cannot put them up item by item for you to sanction every time, like The DAO.

The gap here is that, many lovely people in the west are not as informed as the Chinese audience in that, they are not aware of the reputaion and work that goes into this project. Our team members bear far more greater opportunity costs than a merely 20k btc market cap could compensate. We will definitely try to establish some smoother channels for us to communicate with the community in a stable way.

As for the market cap management, there will always be speculators pumping and dumping, but in the end it comes to solid progress that can be recognized by the market.
People will come and find out in the natural course of time.

I understand that the 50% will be invested in development, and it will be released at maximum 15% per year, starting 1 year after mainnet launch.

However, there are currently no other projects with 20k+ BTC market caps where anything close to 50-60% of the supply is centralized around the development team (except maybe steem and ripple)

The team and concept here look great, so I will probably save my BTC to catch dumps below ICO #2 price on exchange.
