Yes, most likely this coin was SCAM there is no information from team and everything works very badly.
Also we see that very few Chinese exchanges added this coin on exchanges. Chinese know more us and they probably consider this SCAM also.
It is not FUD. I only say what I see.
Besides it trades for 50% below of ICO of the price now.

You should get real and all the people which are thinking that they are going to get rich overnight. I know you are used to the shitcoin tactics and quick pumps but guess what... Real progress and real development takes time. They said that there will be a signifficant announcement before chinese new year so be patient and wait. They are working hard.
Yeah i think antshares need to step it up a bit, BTC rally is over now and still antshares is going under, western investors are force to trade on chinese exchange because of low volume on bittrex ans need to be added in another exchange, or did the investors have already gone out and only the bag holders are left.
Rally over? I don't think so, the price is stable right now, 5000 CNY/750 USD are very strong bottom, but one of your point is right. More wenstern exchanges, bittrex volume is small, poloniex? But too difficult to list on poloniex.

They just need to provide a clear road-map of what their plans for 2017 and the future is. With that they will easily be added on exchanges, if the website and wallet works properly, fast blockchain transaction speed and the other features are implemented. We should see a big rise in this, just like ETH,XMR , ARDOR and many more. Wait after the chineze new year . Price will explode ...
They should take this as a real business project and should actively work for this project.

They have become partner with Wings which is pretty much active and is going to launch their platform where they will work in cooperation with each other and other external sources. I will say it is still pretty well alive though we don't have many updates or they are not good in keep connection with community here.

I would not go as far as stating this as dead. It has been slow, yes, but not dead.
Give the devs a little bit of time, they've probably been super busy ever since the launch of this, now it's the new years and they might just want to gather their thoughts and regain a bit, wouldn't you?
I was here back when they first announced it, and I've been ever since. I've never had a problem with the desktop wallet and I've never tried the web wallet, but I do however see that some are struggling with both. This is where we as a community should step in and help each other out. Could just be fault in reading descriptions and guides, rather than a major flaw in the system.
If people who are struggling were to come together with a list of that is wrong, that'd be great. I'd be happy to take the lead on trying to solve most of those issues. To take some burden off of the devs and let them focus on driving it forward.

Out of Investor-view I believe that ANS is an extreme project. What I mean by that: There won't be a way in the middle. If it should become a success it will most likely be highly successful with huge impact on the price - could become a billion-marketcap. If they should fail - it will turn out as the opposite with no value at all. I'm invested since the ICO and hope for the first scenario of course and I also believe that there are chances. But it's hard to stay informed about it's progress and right now it feels like a bet, not so much like an Investment. At least it's not a bad bet. ;-)

You have to send Antshares from your wallet in order to be able to claim Antcoins. I've read that someone sent ANS from an address on their wallet to the same or another address on their wallet, and that was enough to be able to claim ANC, but haven't tried that myself.
All my coins are sitting in the desktop wallet and this forum is only source of getting information or updates. What I think there is some pump coming in near future. There has been lot of accumulation just look at the chart of last couple of weeks to understand. Waiting will be worth to get good profit.
You do know how easy charts are to manipulate right? This is a terrible place to source information. Please sort it out antshares.
