Why would Poloniex add a coin they don't understand? They don't need to know too much technicality. They just want to hear the coin's potential with its plans simply laid out to them. All they care is that it will bring in huge volumes.
You know, Antshares is known only to a few unless they dig around for information. Your team should take inspiration from Ethereum, Maidsafe, Bitshares/Steem, and Synereo dev community efforts.

As for speculation games I'm not an expert on that but my personal opinion is that Bitcoin is draining a lot of capital inflow from what was supposed to be alt/ico investment.
If SegWit goes through, this effect will become just more obvious. You know CNY is expected to depreciate to as low as 7.5 in 2017. So be aware.
But I'm bullish on Antshares, and the entire blockchain (token speculation) market next year for some other reasons.

the antcoins are assigned to your address with every new block, in a [pending state]
you can claim it whenever you use windows client to import the priv key of that address
