It was quite lucky to start around this time when a lot of the coin launches have usually started in the past, could have been some random time in the middle of the night for most people, maybe the title can be changed to state the 3600 block has started though so people wanting to mine can jump in whilst the diff isn't too crazy

So it started earlier, I think some people are going to be annoyed since they were expecting it to start like 11 hours from now, and will be hear 11 hours late.

So when is the Official launch ? at block 3600 ?
Well the client is officially launched ,network is up and running, we can send coins and such..
But yes, the official *mining* launch is at 3600 block, which is sometime later today/tomorrow depending on what timezone you are in.
So what event is going to happen at 3,600? Is it going to start giving a lot more coins?
