I've been sneaking around here at bitcointalk for quite some time now, but this is the first time I've felt the need to make a post! New coins are launched almost every day, but I still think Klondike is a breath of fresh air. I’ve got a really good feeling about this one for two main reasons:
Dev:
Like many others have pointed out, the launch was excellent. You can tell that all of this is well planned and that there is a project plan to follow through. No silly logo contests, no premine, no BS. Also, you can tell that he is really passionate about this and that there is more to it than money!
Community:
It's rare to read a thread where almost all of the posts (except for the ones regarding the pool problems, which are now settled) are positive yet balanced. No 'to the moon'-talk, just people being pleasant and supporting the progress with the understanding that it will take some time to build a solid, successful coin.
As for the future, it will be really interesting to see what dev has planned. I really hope it’s something that distinguishes us from the rest of the alt-coins. Maybe something like the Bitcoin 2 Credit Card? (Which has now disappeared, does anyone know why?) Hopefully all the other ‘must-have’-features like android and ios wallets will be ready soon.
