First CINNI, now SDC.

Looks like someone is cashing out (again). So where are you off to next after you're done with this coin, rynomster?

Do you understand the meaning of a contract job? It means when you're finished with the work you've been contracted to do, you're free to leave.

Ryno was never the lead dev of CINNI. If you want to throw rocks at someone throw - them at the founder of CINNI.

Read the CINNI thread and ask rynomster yourself (assuming he's not a liar). He promised EM and EM-based anonymous transactions to CINNI but disappeared for the 2nd part, blaming "family issues." Don't take my word for it - see the thread and ask rynomster yourself (assuming he isn't lying, in which case look for ambiguous weasel words or over-the-top claims of innocense). He screwed CINNI (along with battbot, who abandoned around the same time, probably realising what was going on). It's fully documented on the CINNI thread.

Check it out, the only person who screwed you was you, the minute you invested in a coin that had an incompetent lead developer. Shadowcoin is Rynomster's project - he doesn't need to outsource anything to anyone. Next time you think about investing in a coin see if the founder is technical because ultimately, you're investing in technology.

I totally agree with that -- one of the things many have learned from the experience -- except to say that it wasn't clear the lead dev wasn't a real dev until later, and a dev can abandon a coin whether he's a hired gun or the lead dev/OP-writer. Doesn't really make a difference, does it?

What matters to me is knowing who the devs are so we understand the risks and benefits, and their history. CINNI was launched by an original dev, and the coin had to be saved by Rat4 as it had problems... It was sloppy at first. So I assume that dev had to hire people for anything advanced, as he needed help just getting the wallets to work right. So whatever worked out or didn't work out with an inexperienced lead dev - that is how those things go.

Personally, I like the Stealth Address concept by Peter Todd, and I like knowing who this dev is - that he is not the ORIGINAL CINNI dev.

So I am willing to buy a little and see how it plays out.

Really the coin is 90% complete anyway, all it needs is the zk-snarks and anything added on top is fluff. Even Satoshi "abandoned" Bitcoin and Charlie Lee doesn't do much with LTC, as long as the coin reaches the zenith of what it is supposed to do, provide total anonymity, I don't care if the dev runs off to the Bahamas never to be seen again. What more can you ask for?

So many large trades back and forth at the price of 25k.. why is that? :O

pumpers getting ready or position building. They most likely will pump on some news and then dump when it rises a bit.

Word to the wise - see CINNI's history. Not sure whether SDC will repeat the same pattern, every coin is unqiue, but there was also an extensive period in CINNI in which hundreds upon hundreds in BTC volume was being traded day after day while the price went nowhere or barely budged -- because the devs that were secretly in the know were regularly and systematically dumping into the hands of the duped. That was before demand eventually dried up in frustration and the price collapsed under all the dev dumping. Repeated attempts at recovery were then repeatedly dumped into by the devs. Turned it into a carcass. Then they left. Then it died. It's all in the forum/chart history.

I have no issue with rynomster being a mercenary - only in making promises that a lot of people put a lot of money on and then selling those promises to someone else and not being up front about it. That said, I wish him and SDC well and thank him - many of us have been made a bit wiser from the experience.

this is why i am afraid to invest in this.
because it went down after they released the wallet.
it might die the same way cinni did.
if it does go up and break 40k resistance i will buy. other than that no thanks.

So guys, whats the latest news on SDC? I think I'll be buying a few more but I'd like an update first.

ShadowSend was released ahead of the deadline. It has been tested and it works, both Mac OSX and Windows versions of the wallet confirmed working. All looks good from an investors point of view.

Does shadowsend work?
Is it good price to buy now?

Everything works as intended. A lot of people have bought between 25k-40k though so of course everyone is looking for people to buy so their investment doesn't go down the drain. We have some whales faking volume while raising the price which trapped a lot of people buying high. Up to you though if you want to wait and hope for a lower price.

It's a great time to buy! I've been inhaling sell walls the last few days.. the volume is definitely there from normal trading. Once these players are done accumulating we'll start to see the buy pressure increase. It's not often you come across a coin with a lead developer as capable as Rynomster. The FUD just dies on impact. There's no pre-hype and the projects are announced a few days before they are released. I've told a few of my fellow traders about this investment opp and the smart ones took my advice. A few of them are still on the sidelines, but I can see them panic buying on the way up.

The players in the market right now are doing a great job at keeping the price down, but they'll run out of steam sooner or later.

Good luck with your investment!

When people are trying to keep the price down - thats when you buy! Because they wouldnt be trying to keep it down unless they were trying to get as many coins for as little as possible. Ride the wave upwards with the big boys - we all make money at this stage, buying it at 200K+ would be more of a gamble, buying it at 30,000 is safe.
