I have been looking at this project almost from the start.

What I can tell about SECI is despite they are not so active on Discord, probably because the team is small, is that they are delivering, and for me that is what I am looking for. They already delivered the secipay beta what I beliebe with more work can be the game changer on this project. Take a look for yourself.

Read all the SCAM alerts that were put here in ANN. We all know most of the MN coins are SCAM. I don`t have a cristal ball about this one but I hope they join the small group of "real" crypto project and not scam.

Good luck in the future SECI team.

Is there a bounty?
Is there a telegram chat group? not announcement.

No real bounties currently (unless you're a Yiimp pool developer, then please contact us on discord).

And no, we only have the announcement telegram group. We prefer to centralize the community on Discord as much as possible so we don't spread ourselves too thin and have breakdowns in communication.

do you have other products other than the 2 items listed? what will i do with your seci stickers?  Tongue what are your target products to be listed on your platform?

These products are just something tangible that users can use SeciPay to buy. There will only be the two for now. The platform is not the products listed on the store, or the store itself, it's the ability to easily and intuitively purchase products online with cryptocurrency (SECI now, more currencies soon), and for merchants/retailers to easily integrate and manage SeciPay within their online stores.

We have launched the BETA for SECIPay!

Info below:

------ This is a real test ------

**Unless you tell us otherwise**, we will order and ship the ordered products (stickers) to the (US ONLY) address on your order. If you only want to test, or if you are outside of the US, send us your transaction or order ID IN DISCORD and we will refund your SECI.

Initial costs are in USD. SeciPay will support multiple currencies, so there will always be a base currency (selectable) on the front end and the equivalent coin cost will appear when the payment coin of choice is selected by the user.

When you add a product to cart and check out, enter your info, click "Generate Address", and on the next screen an address will generate. Once you send coin to that address, the screen will update to confirmed once there have been 2 confirmations on the transaction + the time it takes for the heartbeat to check again (It's possible that explorer can get backed up, if after 2 confirmations it doesn't confirm, please be patient).

------ You can fake phone numbers, emails, and addresses for testing ------

Just let us know if you faked an address and don't want the stickers so we can cancel the order and refund your SECI. You obviously will not receive an order email if you fake it. Phone number is natively required by woocommerce, and we are not altering core functionality via SeciPay for continuity's sake.

------ This is BETA ------

There will be things you don't like, or would like to see different. We want your feedback (please make one list and send us the details of your critiques). Sometimes we will have reasons we did it this way, don't get butthurt if we say no or put your suggestion on the backlog.

------ This is the Beginning -----

We have only just begun Smiley

I actually like how many people are trying to create fud around this project, so that they keep other people away and can mine as much as they can accumulating SECI

OMG, you guys are amazing!  On second thought copying and pasting Straks electrum wallet should take about a week.  Why wait till July for release?

Pretending to work hard is what this sector is built on.  You guys are a shining example.  Good for you guys, bad for the people who are falling for this shit!

Aww - You're amazing too! Thanks for bumping our post so many times!

But no, we're not pretending to work - we're working. SeciPay is coming along nicely, from the ground up - GASP! - and of course we are forking Straks' version of the Electrum wallet... that's literally why/how open source works. We know it's not major, but we needed the ElectrumX server anyway for SeciPay and other projects, so we figured why not release the Electrum wallet for those that want lightweight - made sense to us. It'll be live as soon as it's ready (copy paste isn't exactly how it works, especially in this sector with missing documentation, etc), but it's not the only thing we're working on, either, and we do like to spend a little time with our families. We do apologize that we're not working fast enough for you, though - we'll try to pick up the pace.

In other news, SeciPay development is coming along nicely and we are still on target for a June "beta"/demo release! A lightweight electrum wallet is also right around the corner as well (before July).

One strange thing!

On famous Signatum github repository (https://github.com/signatumd/source/) it is written in readme.md, I am citing now:
"MOVED

This project has moved to https://github.com/Seci-Coin/Seci

Soepchik"

So, be careful!

Someone brought that to our attention last week; sadly we have no idea who created that account, the repo and made the readme.

It is a brand new repo made by a new user, both of which where created after our announcement.

Just to be clear, We had nothing to do with the former signatum project or anyone that was involved in that project.

Thus far all my efforts to contact the account that put that readme in place have been unsuccessful. If you created that account and repo, please remove us from it.

We don't appreciate the FUD.

What Hamrex stated above is correct, and I most certainly did not create / sign that obviously fake readme.

Clones and forks...  if one word makes you feel better than the other, then you don't understand how related all alt coins are.

I am not going to argue with you, as there clearly is no point. You are going to believe whatever you want to believe.

What I will address is that no one is hiding a pre-mine; the pre-mine of the 10.5 million Seci dev fund is openly declared in the first post, in the litepaper, and in the blackpaper. It has never been hidden, and the role of the dev. fund has been clearly stated as well.  If any project is going to survive long term, it will require funding, and all coin projects only have one source of funding. At 7% our pre-mine is pretty middle of the road. Many are much higher, and Many are much lower.

I felt it was reasonable amount to ensure that the project had a sustainable funding model. If you disagree, I am sorry to hear that; we just just have to agree to disagree.

I selected Straks as base to fork, because it was the best base to use to build on to implement the features we wanted to add, mainly our block chain services. It already had masternodes, and an update bitcoin core version.

That is the entire point of open source projects; You don't have re-invent the wheel and start from scratch when you want to build something. There is code from at least 6 projects that I can count in our current code base, and likely a lot more than that, as those 6 "cloned" from somewhere else. If that bothers you, I suggest you stick to closed source projects.

SECI's initial release has two jobs: To increase total supply and distribute SECI to network participants.

Those two roles take time, and are necessary for our future releases to work properly. Our blockchain services relies Seci-nodes and people with populated wallets that can take part in child chain staking. So seci was released in this most basic form; which is a "clone of Straks" without all the Signatum swap baggage to build the network, get coins into wallets, and get nodes online.

I have no idea why you think we are running a Scam, We are not asking you or anyone else for anything. If you don't like our project, I am sorry to hear that, I hope you will continue to follow our progress. If you do, we invite you to mine some coins, Join our Discord, and take part in the project with us.

All that said, Thank you for your feedback and have a nice day.

~Hamrex

Cloned STRAKS shamelessly!

https://straks.tech

SCAM ALERT!

Do something original peeps. Same old shit just another day.

We used straks as our base fork; it wasn't announced because it is irrelevant. Straks itself is a clone, we are all clones of clones of clones.

We selected the best base to build on that aligned with our project goals just like all other alt coins do.

Right now, in our initial release, Seci is like straks without the massive premine and weekly payouts to those that swapped Signatum forcing the price down. Beyond that we have our own roadmap to follow which is covered in our black paper.

You need to do some more research or maybe English is not your first language. CLONE and FORK are not semantically interchangeable in this context.  Straks is indeed a FORK with new features and amended code.  You have literally CLONED Straks, changed the MN requirement, plagiarised their reactive equilibria algorithm and then removed all Straks copyright information.

Show some integrity and stop making baseless comments.

Also, note to yourself: your dev premine is 7%, that is 10.5 Million SECI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nearly 200% more than Straks dev premine (excluding Signatum swap), if I understand it correctly.  Who are you kidding with this SCAM?

And on another note, where is the rich-list list on your explorer? I guess the pre-mine is easier to hide without one.  Good job team!

I REPEAT, SCAM ALERT!
