what happened to the price?
did i miss some news?
I don't think something bad happened with SEMUX. Such drops today maily come from panic sellings.
<...>

It seems as if a lot of money is flowing out of the Altcoins and into Bitcoin at the moment. Smaller Altcoins suffer the most. I think that's the reason why the price has fallen so much, and it has gained a bit again today.

I remember that after the last airdrop another airdrop was announced. This was more than a year ago. Is there any current information or has the airdrop been cancelled?

No new airdrops planned as far as i know. In total devs have distributed almost 5 million SEM in 1.5 years and now it's block rewards only.
Recently devs have burned almost all premine including undistributed airdrop funds and major part of their own coins. So now there is only a budget for development and marketing left:

https://medium.com/semux/semux-foundation-burned-15m-sem-of-premine-4f34be96d3f0

Talking about block rewards, there is the first halvening already in December 2019:

https://twitter.com/semuxproject/status/1120068563568680962

So inflation also will be decreased by -33%.
I think this event can push the price much higher than it's now.
And in any case, even after the first halvening Semux will remain one of the most profitable PoS coins by its yearly ROI.
With that chances that the value will start to grow, slowly but surely it will work with other Alts which still surviving around the market, if you have some time to review this coin can be a good option for long term investment since it's a PoS coin that you can store inside your wallet and earned the rewards.

What is the expected ROI of validator after halvening in December?

I think it will be 23% per year instead of current 38%.

There is 380K SEM left in community distribution address. But devs said that this is not for airdrop, but for small bounties for contributors: copywriters, translators, active community members via discord tipping bot and other activities.

I don't think something bad happened with SEMUX. Such drops today maily come from panic sellings. That's all, and such terrible falls can happen with any altcoins when investors panicly sell their coins. It is more convincing because investors tend to cash out their altcoins and buy bitcoin with hope that bitcoin can move higher. Who knows how high bitcoin will move (in reality its rise currently stop around $7500 and have fallen considerably from that), but SEMUX is good at such price around 4xxx satoshis. Therefore, prices below 3xxx satoshis are very good to buy and have more SEMUX.

Each account can vote for liked SEM every 24 hours  Wink.
Why not vote for SEMUX on txbit.io exchange, that does not require KYC, instant withdrawals, and very nice graphics. I give link of Community Coin Vote on txbit exchange for SEMUX community: https://txbit.io/Voting (link to check current results of each vote round). Each account allows to vote one time per 24 hours. There is a link to make vote application on txbit: https://voting.txbit.io/. Please remember that there is only one winner for each vote round. In my perspective, SEMUX has likely had a very huge community, come from its generous airdrops and campaigns in the past, so now it is time for SEMUX community to show their power.

Thanks, voted. The voting ends on 23 May, so we still have time to get in the first place.

What exchange do you recommend me to buy sem?

Stex is the best choice

https://app.stex.com/en/trade/pair/BTC/SEM/1D

There are also citex.co.kr and tokok.com exchanges, but they are more oriented to asian markets.

Couldn't you just use some of the premine to pay for an actual exchange listing?

Which exchanges are scheduled for listing in the near future? How is Semux project progress going?  I would like to know if the project is trustworthy?
