Hello! I was participating in the airdrop and according to the scan of my address I got 450 SEM!

But I can`t now enter my wallet, because it says I enter wrong password?
May be by mistake when I fill reg. form I enter somewrong letter in the password(((
Is there the way I can change or recover the pass?

You have to remember your password. That's how crypto works you are in charge of your own funds. Make sure to try again else you will lose your SEMs.

Guys, make sure backup your database from time to time.
Painful to resync!

Looking forward to new distribution methods.

Also curious about how to motivate validators to keep working since there is no block reward in RC1.

becouse believe in the project

Well, to keep a basic V, you need 4 cpu, 8GB and 100Mbps. But in order to make network strong, you need double it, which makes almost impossible to use home PCs. Decent VPS with hardware like this costs at least 400$ or more per month (not shit vps). So if there is no reward for V, even believers won't use top hardware to secure the network. That's why I'm curious how would dev deal with this. Maybe DEV team will set up most of the V by their own?

A very good server, a dedicated one and not a virtual one, cost 60€ per month.

So when I try to open my wallet, It stalls and I get a message that I need to update my wallet. Am using beta 4, should I just download beta 5 and will it automatically update. Just asking cos am not use to this wallet, and I don't want to do anything that will result in the loss of my coins
All wallets actually similar, maybe you are just not used to, you should update your beta5 wallet, otherwise unable to use, then you can import the block folder inside the beta4 wallet to the beta5 folder.

But why are you going to cancel block rewards? Who will be the validators than and why?

I like this project and will be validator even without block reward for 5-7 months.

Minimum is 1 core and about 2 GB now.
There are a difference between hosters hardware and software, but on average this is enough.
Not to mention dedicated servers with 1 core there are no problems at all. Semux client at this stage consumes not so much resources.
And 1-2 core VPS with 2-4 GB costs about 20$ in a month.

With this config I have a lowest missing rate for the last days.

The dev team will set up 5 nodes. We're hoping our community, especially coin holders, help build the RC1 network. It's also a good chance for everyone to gain experience of building solid nodes.
