I can see that active VM development discussion has started on Semux github. Devs are picking Ethereum VM if I'm not mistaken, which is a nice choice IMO (lots of contracts written in solidity already).

If no one is selling, price has to go up.  There's always buyers, they are just price sensitive.

No-one selling, just voting? No-one buying either.

Voting And Listing Eligibility Criteria
To avoid spam votes we have ensured individuals must be registered, must have at least one deposit and must have made at least one trade in any of our markets to be able to place votes and add coins to the vote list. Each user can vote up to 5 times monthly.

Well, your speech is a bit outdated! Since 2016 there is a strong chain of people who are cons and judge the signatures campaign, but remember, the forum depends on this type of thing to sustain itself, unfortunately!
