sorry if this has been covered but it would be really cool if we get our chance at the profit from exchange by holding the coins in the wallet. Or am i mistaken and this is how it actually is, i thought u have to hold them in the exchange

There was 1,583 accounts qualified. But some of them changed their signature before they get the coins so they are moved to the disqualified list. There are about 50 of them. There are some of them in the first 1,000 list too. That's why someone with the number 980 still not getting 10% extra, the place is still held for those people. There coins will still be in the wallet until they change their signature back and keep it for 7 days.
I believe devs have no intention to keep any sharecoin to himself.
Devs have a much bigger picture than most of us thought.

ShareCoin is a pure POS coin so you can not mine it directly. Instead, you will mine other altcoins and exchange them for ShareCoin. Doing it this way will help you get ShareCoin and increase its value at the same time, Killing two birds with one stone.

Maybe, you have 1.5.0.0 wallet version.

Try to download the last version (1.6.0.0) at first post. It should solve your issue:
