even though i did download the latest version of the wallet.
does anybody read the thread? Are you on version 1.6.0.0 of the wallet? If not, you need to upgrade. Link to new version is in post 1 of this thread. Read the last 8 to 10 pages and you will find instructions to remove the old data if just running the new version doesn't d/l new blocks.
