How to repair your Silkcoin wallet
1. Click ACTIONS
2. Click DEBUG WINDOW
3. Click CONSOLE
4. type checkwallet and press Enter
If you get errors like mismatched spent coins or orphan blocks found
4. type repairwallet and press Enter
and wait......
You should be free of errors now

Just did a checkwallet and found a lot of orphans and mismatched spent coins
so I had to do a repairwallet

You need to do this from time to time in Silkcoin wallet
It's a thing that was cluttering the blockchain because the Silkcoin code was a mess from the beggining
Lucky we will have a functioning code on the new Silk

DarkSilk is a PoW coin normally miners sell at a profit or they will not mine. So price should reflect the cost that they have made.
On the demand side of the price its all about the value that the developer pours into the coin through features and support. Will the developer over or under deliver?
Basically, investing in mining equipment is a miner's decision and any investment involves risk.

New Silkcoin folder updated for quick sync including nodes
For Newcomers
download and install the silkcoin wallet first
start the wallet for a minute or so then exit
Get the updated files: Download the silkcoin.zip file, it's around 950megs..
Files here On Google Drive
Then use the search feature for windows, and search for %APPDATA%
Once you're there click "Roaming" then goto the Silkcoin dir.
This is the folder where silkcoin wallet keeps the data
Then extract everything over, everything from silkcoin.zip file, into the silkcoin folder you found in the %APPDATA% search. Overwrite all.
Don't delete or play with your wallet.dat file.
PS: You only need to do this in case of trouble, loss of data, no sync wallet, or new to the silkcoin

There are a few pages of updates back in the thread. Use your own diligence and find out for yourself what you are looking for.
any current updates ive meant. for the amount of effort people have said to read back read the thread could just have a website with less effort.
seems this coin isnt launching any time this year.
Of course, because you're the lead developer and know our release timeframe and progress made so far.
Doesn't look like you can be bothered to read a few pages anytime this year.
