How come I can  still mine at the official pool?

or is it not really mining for a block?

The pool is just accepting shares. If you look, the pool nethash equals an amount but the nethash is 0.

We are there, block 131400. Well done to all that mined and got their share of Sterlingcoin whilst also attributing to processing transactions.

Our hard work continues with the store, multipool and many other services for 2015.

Time to break open a bottle of something nice.

We are full PoS.

Good job everyone.  I hope you enjoyed our POW period and everyone got in with their miners while they could have.

We will get the merchandise section built asap.

Here are some products as a teaser:

We were also thinking of adding a merchandise section to the website. Mugs (Cups), mousemats, pens, lighters, t-shirts and Sterlingcoin cryptocurrency cards etc.

That is a nice idea!

I would love a Sterling coin mug for my beverages.

That being said we have been talking about media/promotions and certainly see the gap in the team that needs to be filled and are now actively seeking that addition.

Great news, I discovered Sterlingcoin browsing projects on Startjoin. BitcoinFX's project had already ended unfortunately but once I learned more about Sterlingcoin I was sold.

We just need to get the name out there and the user base will surely grow.

Good to know that my efforts have brought some new interest to Sterlingcoin in general and before PoW ended.

I'm in the process of getting a website set-up to continue retailing these cryptocurrency cards. Will also be offering similar cards for Bitcoin, Litecoin, Peercoin, Mintcoin, Darkcoin, Startcoin and ofc Sterlingcoin.

I'll get a couple of ebay auctions online for some of the remaining Premier Edition Sterlingcoin Crypto Cards within the next week or so, just seems to be a logical way of gaining some more interest and new users of SLG.

Guldencoin have been doing well and they shuld have a bigger marketcap than SLG. But they have been dumped on heavily. To many coins and multipool are pressuring the value of guldencoin. SLG are going PoS today, so no more dumping. So with that in mind they should have almost the same marketcap.

If you can look past minor obstacles that are being worked on you will see a gem like Sterlingcoin. How far off are we with the blocks (on tablet so can't check blocks), must be close now!

Also @Rols, let's not further clog this thread about SLG with opinions on other coins, I know I've replied to you a few times because I don't agree, but if we were to continue a discussion it'd be better through PM or other medium, wouldn't you agree? Smiley SLG has better things to 'worry' about.

Cheers

258 blocks to go which is ~4 hours roughly left of the PoW/PoS phase.

(OFF-TOPIC) I have created a new StartJOIN project - https://www.startjoin.com/trews_headline - which is to support Russell Brand's New Era estate StartJOIN project. 35 backers thus far with Max Keiser and Stacy Herbert onboard. StartJOIN is an excellent platform and we will be utilising it for Sterlingcoin in one way or another in the future. Maybe a Sterlingcoin crowd funding site could even be a possibility?
