Excellent job to the dev team who are really outdoing themselves already. I hope people can see that the team is extremely serious about the success of Sterlingcoin. The online wallet system will now enable many more users who don't have access to a PC to be able to use Sterlingcoin on there mobile devices and tablets. The first phase to implementing offline merchants is complete.

The focus outside of the development work that is continually going on will be on online merchants and marketing but it was very important to get the fundamental applications released first.

I am now convinced this is the cheapest coin on the market for what it offers, a absolute gem! Well done on the online wallets!!

Yeah just wait for POW to end, buy now and let the miners reap their 'profits'. Let your coins stake in your wallet and add to the network for cheap while making some easy extra Sterlingcoin. Then when price goes up you can sell your staked coins and probably break even or better and you can reap profits off of the POS to keep the market flowing Wink.

At the time of me posting this we under 100k blocks to go now for POW (99078). 25% complete in under 1 month. So less then 3 months to go and POW is completed.

Will the format of the online wallet system look fine on pre smartphone devices?

We will be optimising and adding further features over the coming weeks, months etc.

Let us know if you experience anything displaying strangely or not easy to use.

I cannot replicate the error.

The best I can suggest is to either clean out your QT, Boost, DBBerkeley and rest of any QT related deps that are installed using apt-get remove and then installing just the deps needed.

OR

just download this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-aqG4R0zMbDZVZWRkhOZzBqOW8/view?usp=sharing (prebuilt QT5 Sterlingcoin 1.2 executable)

 Grin

Many thanks Spencer - I took the easy route and downloaded the pre-built executable. Fantastic job on the new wallet Cool

CJ

Many thanks.

Should I have run make as root?

You dont have to build as root.

I have tried to replicate this error without success. However I did fully test the wallet on a clean VM with just the deps needed and built perfect.

Give me 5 minutes.

Devs, can we have a promo video made please? I am making a website comparing Britcoin and Sterlingcoin and need one, otherwise its just Britcoin's video, which would be a bit unfair

We have been in talks with people who do video production and are still trying to source a person to make a professional infographic (not a fiverr job).

Nice, appreciate the fiver job part lol, thanks for quick response

Just tried to update my Sterlingcoin wallet but get the error below. I'm using Mint 17 Cinnamon 64bit and followed the instructions in readme-qt.rst, all dependencies appear to be met, a search for 'QWebFrame: No such file' didn't find anything relevant (probably something else anyway, I don't know what I'm doing apart from folowing instructions). The previous wallet, v.1.0.0.0 using QT 4.8.6, works fine.
