why you are selling coins 0.00001600 BTC if yesterday you bought them for 0.00002400-0.00002700 BTC ?? Think a little before selling.

I am mining and still didn't sold. Actually I think it's price should be around 3-5k nowadays.

Too much rush for get solarcoin in a new exchange

Do you think theyr value will be 100% more than allcrypt?

I don't think. Maybe the opposite.

Solarcoin is such an investment. Within 2 years minig them will be quite impossible.

99% already pre-mine.

So, HOLD ON you solarcoin, sell some or buy or mine them if you want. But hold on the most!!!!

And within years theyr value could really reach what the dev say.

i don't think so. it is the good time to hit SLR to an exchange that supports API accessed, so that SLR can get its market value on Coinmarketcap. more people will know this coin, and they will involved in.

Cool! And solarcoin wasn't added so far after 1 hour.

Take a break and a cup of tea.

They need 3 days to list in the exchange.

Sorry, if you participated in the live stream you would have seen that Soschi and 365coin were this weeks winner.  Also it's only been 31minutes since the random selection took place.

Next selection is in 3 days and all votes carry over.

Maybe so, but being on another exchange will help increase its exposure. And honestly, I welcome a lower price, because I will be there to buy buy buy buy

The majority will not be miners, only 1% of the coins are mined. Ideally the majority of the coins will be held by solar producers, investors, merchants. Although if you consider attaining them through the granting process mining, that's a fair assumption also.

Yes, but for now, the majority of holders ARE miners. When you think the tide will shift so that the miners are the minority? 6 months from now? 6 years from now? Any thoughts?

Well the granting process is in the alpha stage and I'd assume it'll hit a stride during beta. Once the beta staging is over it's only a matter of time before the literature is published and the grant awareness takes off. There is a lot of buzz however. People tend to like grant money even if it's not worth much in the beginning, free is free.

When you say? I'd give it 2 years before we see significant grants paid. Although keep in mind also according to the foundations rules, only 5% of the grant coins will be released by the total number of mined coins.

edit: something like that. Someone else want to make that less confusing and more accurate?

Cool, I appreciate your thoughts. I'm really excited about this coin.  Grin

Question. Am I correct in understanding that CryptoPoolMining effectively has over 90% of the network hashrate for this coin? Isn't this a BAD thing? I'm familiar with the possibility of a 51% attack with BTC and other crypto's which has prompted me to ask. I really like this coin, but having all that power in one place really seems like a bad idea.

But there is no incentive to switch to a smaller pool where the payoff takes a lot longer. If one of the other pools could have a block finder's bonus or some other bonuses, then maybe it'd be worth switching.

The nice thing about mining this coin is that the majority of the other miners are all holding their coins rather than dumping. If any of the current altcoins take off, this one has the most promise!
Yes everyone is holding cause this coin will be huge the next btc Smiley also I wonder how many coins are left to mine

Of course , and just like the other coins that.... upsie .. failed to do that.
You talk like that about a coin you don't have clue about?

I was thinking about this coin and it's potential today. What makes sense to me is that two things are required for this coin to "really succeed":
1) The majority of Solarcoin holders should be not be miners (most miners seem to just want to make a quick buck).
2) Merchants need to accept it as a form of payment (obviously).

So this makes me wonder: How long will it take before about 50% of the Solarcoins are owned by Solar-power producers (assuming these people keep their coins and don't dump them)? Anybody have any thoughts on this?
