Check out GINcoin. I'm like you and haven't a clue, found GINcoin's platform and I own one of their masternodes now, it's basically a wizard setup and hosted via themselves. Coins never leave your wallet also. It's not just GINcoin masternodes on there, there's more coins you can set up and more being added each week.

Only recently started looking into a Smartcash Smartnode & I must say I'm very impressed: It costs about 1200 USD on the current market. It has a marketcap of around 100M, 11k nodes (which is currently the highest), it is gaining merchant adoption in Brazil & has an ROI of ~100% P.A.
