Segwit's effectiveness is being appreciated by many people and this is one of the thing you are aiming to not implement on your forked coin SBC. Why are you using brand name of Bitcoin and don't simply fork the chain and with new name and features you want to introduce ? It wasn't good to contribute in BTC's improvement if you really have some working solution ?

I think the very straightforward answer is - of course use bitcoin as it is the most popular cryptocurrency as of now. So just add Smart to it, and viola, you made bitcoin smart. lol Anyway, even if you have outstanding features and of course more competitive than bitcoin, but still you need a lot of users to make this really useful to the crypto public.
