since KGW has become prevalent with launches (about 1-1.5 months ago) my solo mining @ 2.7mh has been completely fucked. i can't even solo mine KGW coins (not even 1 block) because diff increases too fast. so yes imo, KGW at launch sucks the donkey balls. it is best used later in a coins life. KGW is like a life preserver for coins.. you don't give the coin the KGW until it's drowning.
