this is a good promotion from CMC. they might have big whales backing up that's why they are not aggressive in terms of marketing. if they are financially sufficient, that would be great for potential investors. because it means, the project will proceed no matter what. and very few projects can attain such first stage of development. most of them stopped when they couldn't raise enough funds.

Why would I be a customer (a trader) of LXDX when I can get much lower trading fees in BitMex ?

The BitMEX products are great. Generally, the LXDX core team are fans. But LXDX don't like auto-deleveraging an don't like socialized losses. LXDX are going about that differently; their variant is quite different — they don't do auto liquidations, they don't do everything denominated in BTC. LXDX want to give new—and better—products to the community. Additionally LXDX are fully compliant with the laws of Malta (where they operate out of) and the SEC and the jurisdictions with which LXDX interact with.

Also, you can't short sell up/down on Bitmex.  You can short sell warrants on LXDX!

if they have better deal than others, why is this thread not active as compared to other competitors? though, right now, i believe on projects conducting STO rather than ICO. they are more legit in terms of their legal documentation to fulfil. the dev team should consider their promotional campaigns in place.

Well most threads right now are slow, the bear market has really quieted down the industry. Once things pick up, i am sure there will be more action again.

LXDX Markets bringing institutional quality to crypto space

“Existing platforms were built as a reaction to demand,” Mr. Greenwald explained. “As the user demanded new ways to trade these new asset classes they scrambled to get something out the door to serve that need. There was no notion of how it fits into the regulatory framework and institutions’ needs for custody.

That neglect has kept serious players away from the crypto trading space, Mr. Greenwald added.”

Are fees on BitMex cheaper?  Upside and downside contracts don't offer a make credit.  Perpetual contracts are -7.5bp to take and +2.5bp credit to make.

LXDX warrants are -7bp to take and +3bp credit to make.  Cash products in ETH and BTC are -4bp to take and +1bp credit to make.  XRP and USDT are ZERO fees both on the make and TAKE.  Seems cheap compared to other exchanges.
