Because I cannot understand why a company that can spend 5 million dollars on buying the Invest.com domain and who knows how many million dollars on buying the broker Anyoption cannot spend a few bucks on the development of the Stox platform and Stox app (according to their road map there are not even alpha versions).

You really do not need a weeks time to reach the target,if you look at the stats now ,they have already collected 124,164.68 ETH in less than twenty four hours,which is a really big deal and i expected this to happen as there was a lot of noises behind this project and with the hard cap is just 148,000 ETH,it will be over pretty soon.131,515.51 ETH right now

I was contemplating buying into the ICO, but I believe a majority of them drop quite rapidly in value right after public release.
It used to be the opposite but because ICO's are more becoming more popular and better at advertising you are right that this is not the case anymore. If the token only lists on a low volume exchange such as Etherdelta/Waves/etc.. then yes they can often be picked up for cheaper post ICO.
In order to provide some value for ICO investors it is important to set a reasonable hard cap which Stox has done and secondly it is important to swiftly get on a large exchange. Anything smaller than Bittrex could easily result in a $30 million ICO trading cheaper.
The product is good though. I'm in REP too but event resolution times will significantly impact their ability to compete in the sport betting market. The Stox approach provides rapid resolution but with the backstop of a decentralized dispute mechanism. Their regulatory approach is also good and means STX prediction markets will probably be available in most/all jurisdictions.
I couldn't have said it better myself. A good exchange will draw a ton of people into it, as the product is indeed very good.

You don't need to get the address from anyone else if your a US citizen. Your not allowed to do it whether you read an address on here or go onto the Stox website. So if your going to do something you shouldn't then at least do it right!

just put some coins on the ico sale, I like the project , and definitely want to see the app and use it ! but I was thinking, how the events will be regulated? I mean if somebody open one and is about a disgrace/dishonour to someone else,even a celebrity,how can we regulate this?

yup read up on crypto's. Buying into an ICO isn't as easy as accessing an exchange and buying a coin. Most will give up and wonder what the hell all those instructions mean. hopefully they have him or others for when it actually goes live on exchanges as that's when it will be more beneficial.
I personally seen it from Mayweathers Instagram so it made me look into it. Glad I did but I hope more is planned to increase the price during golive, not for ICO that helps them...not us.
