has anyone tried porting this up to the latest bitcoin codebase etc?

We're looking into the following possibilities:

- Cleanest solution
- Users just have to update their wallet
- Old wallets will keep working

- A lot of manhours -> Expensive
swap (new blockchain)

- Less manhours -> Cheaper

- Manual actions for user, they will have to swap their coins on an exchanges
- Exchanges charge fees to perform a swap
fork (split blockchain)

- Less manhours -> Cheapest

- 2 blockchains
- 'Spaghetticode'
What's your opinion on our next step?
