jakiman is back!
I just bought myself some more Supercoin thanks to that sell wall at 6k sat allowing for weak hands to sell lower. Grin
I'm glad it's not getting really pumped right now. Yesterday was just a correction upwards to its new floor it seems.

IPOs are fine

You just need to be really careful.

It depends on the situation. Escrow? Usually a good question? Tongue

Is this logo a bit blurry? Is there a higher resolution (crisper) version of the logo?
It also looks like the blue tint is unintentionally smeared on to the horizontal bars?
I was hoping it'll keep a bit of the Blue & Red of the original logo also. Ah well.

Hey Johny, here is some problem ...

you have premine 2 500 000 coins, is actualy 18 % (look at first block in block explorer)

can me someone explain this ??

I remember originally it was said the IPO proceeds are for code development and maintenance, pay for servers, graphics designs, marketing/promo, bounties for things like explorer etc. The IPO was only 5 BTCs. For the work dev team did, this is not excessive at all. You can't use today's value. Those who got IPO got big gains, but they took big risk as well.

I agree, this was a mini-IPO. The value was small. Those who purchased IPO got big, congratulations to their good vision. It was a risky move too as there are so many crappy coins too.

I don't see this is a problem at all. The early holders (not even dev) get rewarded, which is fine.

REDD coin had IPO and it was successful too.

Good to see beta anon released. I tested it, and it works fine. Great job! I like the new indicators, looks really good to me. When it will be in main network? From what i tested, there is no problem. All work fine.

Dev said it will be on the main network just after PoW ends. So that's most likely before the weekend.

Great, looking forward to it

I am looking forward to it too, great job dev!

there is talk of super coin in mintpal IRC, lets see what happens. general talk

We know it will get on there eventually. So I don't think there is need for any rush to get on there.
Supercoin will benefit from steady growth of investors & floor instead of massive whale pump & dumps.

I'm sure most IPO holders would have already sold considering it did get pumped to like 8500 sat few weeks ago and got dumped.
So the distribution is much better now than before. Just check the rich list. It's quite good. http://super.blockexplorer.cc/richlist/

I assume the #1 address is most likely Bittrex exchange.

majority weak holders sold when busoni made the mistake

The OP explains it:

"PoS
- 20 sec PoS block time
- diff retarget each block for PoS
- minimum hold for PoS: 1 day
- maximum hold for PoS (over which coin-day no longer accumulated): 60 days
- Variable PoS payout:
   - 1st year:  100%
   - 2nd year: 50%
   - 3rd and subsequent years: 1%

- Super-PoS-Blocks!! Only for the 1st year:
1 chance in 5 million coin-day (about 0.5 - 3 times per day depends on the PoS generation), that a super-PoS-block of 1024 coins on top of your regular PoS will be generated.

- Total PoW coins will be 14.3 millions.
- Total coins (including PoS) will be about 45,000,000.

- Zero premine (except for mini-IPO)

Supercoin aims to be exciting and high rewarding for its users, with both PoW Super bonus blocks and PoS super bonus blocks. The SuperCoin is really SUPER!

2.5 million SUPERs are used for a mini-IPO. IPO completed."

This should be fixed though:

"We will host a mini-IPO for 5% of the total X11 PoW coins. The proceeds of the IPO will be used to finance the coin development, website/servers, marketing/promotions and maintenance and enhancements of the coin.

All rest of the coins will be mined through X11 PoW mining and minted through PoS blocks."

2.5 million is 5% of the total coins, including PoS.
