I was sitting happily with an order at 4.9k then some whale comes along and places a 100,000 coin order at 5.5k forcing the whole market up.

AFAIR that was only about 1,5 BTC worth of coins but it should be enough.
Note that Supercoin is just at the beginning of it's road.
I've recently called on CLOAK (as you might see in their Bitcointalk thread) and now I am calling on Supercoin.
We need no more than week to launch to the moon.
It definitely is.
But event if it wasn't, the hype for this coin is growing (look at the volume at Bittrex!) and it's only a matter of time when Mintpl adds us (I hope it will be in the next week, ninja add, however we should still be voting on Mintpal). Then the fun will begin!
