Sorry we will not change the spec without any critical issues...

NO offends dev. truly community are much appreciated for what you have done!

but

1: do you realized Multipool control 3/4 of the everyday total coins(Last night they controled 9/10 of the everyday mined coin)

Check this Pool Hashrate: 4,060.93 MH/s
Pool Workers: 30
Net Hashrate: 17,399.91 MH/s (about 12G come from Multipool...)

2: do your see the big dump on Bittrex.

we can still keep the coin total amount fixed, but Please reduce the block reward more quicker than original plan.

otherwise Multipool will keep dumping supercoin everyday is the next 3 month!
what's the meaning of this???  Wink

DEV we need quick Halves, other wise Multipool will keep dumping their coins until pow period ends...

you can also check dark thread, at first the reward is 500coin then reduce to 25 coins after they realised the Multipool dumping.

similar thing happened with XC coin. they ends their mining period soon after they realized Multipool keep dumping

Further more, POS mining is a more greener  way for coin distribution, it do not need GPU cards and waste electricity!

what's the meaning of pow period?

Halves block reward to 64 coins, Please..

Makes certain sense...

Sending with anonymous feature will become very easy, just click "anonymous send" checkbox before clicking the "send" button. It is the same user interface. Of course, you can also choose to use normal send if you want. No additional command-line command to use:

By the way, we will try to release the wallet with anon features for tests this weekend. Remember, for now we only allow the anon features in testnet for testing purpose. It will be the same client, so you can switch back and forth between formal SuperCoin network and testnet (just change the testnet=1 or 0 in config file and restart the qt client).

Very nice! looking forward to the new client.

Multippol will only make the all coins profit about the same, have no effect on the coin mining itself

What? This isn't correct at all...

Multipool absolutely effects mining (by reducing the amount of coins paid out to those of us mining) and it also lowers the price on exchanges by forcibly dumping them...This effect is compounded by "would-be" miners switching to mining other alt-coins which have better price margins, in an attempt to sell them off and buy more Supercoins in the exchanges...

Which in turn hurts (albeit much much less) the other alt-coin which the miners have turned to mining and dumping...

Multipools are a vicious cycle for coins during POW phase... THE ONLY DETERRENT IS LOWER BLOCK REWARDS... This makes it unprofitable for the multipool to mine the coin heavily, and opens up room for those with smaller hash rates to mine the coin.

Only when many miners/investors all hold adequate amounts of any coin is a truly diversified and "decentralized" system of control produced (this is why miners hate premines so much)... This is by far the best course of action for any coin that is truly looking out for the community, unfortunately this is also the worst case for large holders (one's who aren't in the coin for the longterm) and for dev's (as this provides the most steady growth, but takes much longer to make gains so the profit margins are not as big as letting the coin rocket, sell offs along the way, and then letting the coin crash)...

I don't totally agree with you... although most multipools pay out in BTC, we could have a multipool pay out in SUPER too.

Second, whether the coin is dumped by multipool, or by someone mining at a regular SUPER mining pool, it is the same. Although I agree that multipool always dumps, while other situations people may hold. But again this is a balance. If the coin is attractive, people will buy, otherwise will sell. So I don't really see the differences here. In a given day, the coin production is the same, so everything is defined by the price, no difference there.

check this! big Multipool dump again, if Multipool keep dumping, people will not urgently to buy coins..

Is the rich list working for anyone else? My address is out by 50%  Huh

One of my address is correct. Haven't checked the other.
Make sure you check using wallet's coin control window.

How would I go about doing that? I have never had to do this before :S

See Coin Control section here for more info:
https://bitcoinfoundation.org/2014/03/19/whats-new-in-bitcoin-core-0-9-0/

Basically, you can see how many coins there are at which address.
(if you have multiple addresses in your wallet that is)

Ah I see. I only have one address in my wallet though.

@supercointeam - do you think there is a chance for the anon featured wallet to be released by this weekend?

It might be possible but i prefer to end up with graphic contest before. And of course several tests has to be done before.
Because of SUPERcoin concept change, it is better to complete it with new graphics. We are getting little dark little more steel in colors.

I agree about the importance of a new "professional / commercial" looking logo.
But I think delaying it about 2 weeks (contest period) before release is quite a long time.
Once anon feature is out and if it works well, more people will flock towards SUPER and we could get even better designs.
So "Beautifying" the wallet can always come later. It's more important to be a "first" in crypto IMHO.

Can you create another thread for Design contest to gain more attraction?

Also, I think we need a bigger bounty to attract more skilled designers.
I'm willing to donate another block (512 coins) to the contest bounty. Smiley
(If you post the public bounty address, maybe others are willing to donate a little also)

Please Halve the block reward this week
 Grin

I would like that too  Grin

is this fair?  Grin

20    VeriCoin   4,352 BTC   0.00016259 BTC      26,765,772 VRC   415.94 BTC   -1.10 %

VRC only have a Anon wallet promise, they ranked in top 20 now.

so what's about the supercoin?

104    SuperCoin   100 BTC   0.00001018 BTC      9,855,612 SUPER   9.58 BTC   +69.89 %

supercoin amount is only  1/3 of Vericoin, also supercoin price is 1/8 of vericoin.

beside  supercoin has a testnet Anon wallet now, Vericoin has nothing working Anon wallet.

so hopefully supercoin price will hit at least 10K supercoin=1BTC soon... Grin

Let's keep working and see what will happen.

Once anon feature released, we'll get there!
