Yep...I checked the payout records.. It appears someone found it profitable enough to pound it from about 15 different proxies. So in actuality, I think only about 6 unique people got payouts.
What this means is that after I get a better way to detect proxy connections, I'm going to do another couple of rounds of the 69s.

Hehe...We started the bonus rounds at the beginning because it was the ONLY pool and it was flaky, so to cover miners losing hash rates we gave out the 69 bonuses to anyone that was 'risking' their hashpower by supporting the coin and the pool. It kind of caught on....and we love doing it

Yeap somebody named DeeDee mentioned it in the Cryptsy trollbox... So there might have been arush..
Funny thing is I know when theres been a payout, I can see the 15's, or in this case 69's getting dumped on the market.
