Hi,
I am new to mining and I could really use some help.
I am running BAMT and Im trying to modify to mine Talkcoin,
1. I have downloaded the TalkCoin zip file, but I dont know where I should put the extracted files.
2. I dont know how where to install the adapted sgminer or how to run it
These are my miner settings, but Im not sure where to put them:
sgminer.exe -k talkcoin -o stratum+tcp://pool.xhash.net:3366 -u Weblogin.miner -p x
Please can someone help,
in the folder you extracted your miner, with everything in it....
Open notepad
put what you just posted : sgminer.exe -k talkcoin -o stratum+tcp://pool.xhash.net:3366 -u Weblogin.miner -p x
Click save as
There is a drop down menu that says "save as type", click on that and select "all files"
put in a name that you want to name it.... and end it with ".bat"..... example: mycoin.bat
save this into your miner folder
then open up the kernel folder inside the miner folder, find the "talkcoin.cl" click to copy it, and then past it back into the main folder of the miner.
Once you have done that, double click on your .bat file you just made and you should be off to the races.
