Way to go 24Kilo!  The missus asked me what I wanted for Xmas.  I told her another GPU card.  She looked at me like I was crazy!!  When I told her that it would pay for itself several times over in the next 12 months she was a tad more enthusiastic. It told her it was the gift that keeps on giving!  Considering I had to fork out ~ $250 for a pair of cross trainer shoes for her (pilates, fit for life, etc, etc) she will spring for a 270X.  Might top it up and get a 280X.  Grin

The pool is cranking around 180Mh/s... we have to be one of the biggest TAG pools... not sure of HashFaster hash-rate... the whale could leave and the pool would still be at 100Mh/s.

Brought another veggie crate miner online today, so if I can keep everything running smooth, we have about 4.5Mh/s in the pool... about half way to catching Vesper!!!

Cool beans I'll check it out Smiley

I took my new R9 280x's offline a few hours ago to put the new coolers on, and then I got sidetracked. Just got them back online. Silence is golden.

Do you control what MPOS puts in the Miner's API? Right now it has hashrate, share rate, worker info, etc. Wondering if 'confirmed/unconfirmed' balance could be added..

Let me look into it and see what I can do.  I know there are a bunch of API calls that can be used.  If one of them has the payout info, I can see if I can just add the code for it into the worker API.

I made some layout changes on the dashboard page.  Mainly just condensing things.  If you don't like it, let me know, but I think it makes things a little more streamlined.

I have also added SITE CHAT!

You can find the chat menu icon at the top right of the site, after you have logged into the pool.  You will need to create a chat account name, as the app I'm using doesn't pull the logins from the site... not a big deal IMO.  So if you get bored, you can hop in chat and talk with the other pool miners.  I'm sure it won't be the most packed chat room in the interwebs, but it lets us chat in real time for shits and giggles.  The chat is a hosted service, so it does not run on the pool servers, and does not use any pool resources.

Let me know what you guys think.

Block confirms, uncofirmed and confirmed earnings, all still working as far as I can see.

One big issue in my mind: Moral Orel was cancelled before they finished the 3rd season.

+1 to that!  I love that show.

Ok... so here's the issue(not horrible)- when we get up there in speed(like how we're killing it right now with 200+MH), and we go a long round, the pool cronjob script that processes everything on the backend get's locked up.  I'm not sure why, but I'm thinking it's just a matter of not being able to keep up.  Everything on the pool is working, minus the stats on the front end.  The quick fix is to delete the .pid file for the script cron-job before the next script cronjob runs.  That way when the next cronjob runs, it doesn't think it's already running and bomb out... not completing the stat updates.  So for now I've added a cronjob to delete the .pid file before the next script runs.  It should keep things updated on the front-end until I can split the pool script up into different scripts and run them individually.

TLDR version- mining is working fine... nothing is lost.  The front-end is dumb as a donkey, and needs a kick in the butt every now and then.

I'm up... getting ready for work.  When I get there and settled in, I will update everyone with what the issue is.

I'm seeing confirmed & unconfirmed earnings go up and difficulty is varying a hair, which is good. Last time it hung for me nothing was going up or changing. Block confirms are also happening it appears.

It's logging me out of the website every few minutes, but other than that it seems super.

Yeah I'd love to see tag go back up also.. I was REALLY liking when it was $3/usd.. I was rich lol.

Hoping all is well with the pool. I did mine a butt tonne of dogecoin yesterday just to have 'just in case'.

BTW 24Kilo.  Did you order some risers off ebay/wherever yet?  You really should get some ASAP.

Block stat confirms are still updating so I think it is just a long round.  When block stats hang at 199 or 198 confirms, you know that something has gone tits up...  Shocked

John,

That makes two Luddites!!! Seems to have hung again or we are in for a long round... at 380% for this round.

No.  I'm sure he's asleep. It's like nearly 3am his time.  The frontend appears to hang when we get a combination of a long round and the whale.  Dunno, maybe it overloads the database?  The whale left, we got a couple of short rounds and the DB was able to catch up.  Pure guesswork on my part as I'm a bit of a luddite with all that kind of stuff.  Roll Eyes

The pool front-end is working again... not sure if it is because Fuse woke up or because the whale left?

John,

I know the feeling... I am hoping that all is well and we are smashing TAG blocks like fiends... got to love this low difficulty... com'on Fuse, wake up.

Hate to say, but this has to get fixed. I know Fuse has poured his heart and soul into this server and we are loyal follower, but this must be a priority to get sorted and resolved. It only seems to happen when the pool starts running over 130Mh/s plus.

Fuse, what do you need to get this sort out?

Arghhh.... The suspense is killing me!  Damn revolving planet and stationary sun.  I'm awake and Fuse is asleep  Cheesy  The diff is in the 20's, the pool is cranking at > 160MH/s, we should be finding around 6 blocks an hour (and I'm sure we are) and swimming in TAG but the the front end and the back end have had another lovers quarrel and aren't talking to each other...

Where have all the miners gone? TAG is at the top of the Coinwarz list, it should be getting smashed?  My best guess is that they're all mining the latest fad coin - DOGE.  Too late guys, diff is up to 113.  I mined a couple of million whilst this pool was down when the diff was around 5!!

Fuse.  Stats updates seem to be stuck again.  Still showing 199 confirms on last found block.

I have first dibs on any 280X's at my local and I am getting about 1 or 2 cards per week... I prefer the Dual-X because they are $25 cheaper and since I am looking at aftermarket coolers, that goes a long way to cover the cost of a cooler.

I can expand slowly as I am only using 'free money', that is funds that I can find out of the weekly budget as I do not want to borrow money for this project. I am buying gear instead of coins as I want to be able to liquidate equipment even if it is at a 50% loss if all this goes pear-shaped.

I am really hoping TAG moves back up to at least $1.50USD, as that is where mining becomes reasonably profitable for me. But I do not want TAG to be a runaway as it will drive difficulty through the roof and make it hard to mine... just find a happy medium would be nice.

The rig in the photo has the pair of Dual-X cards.

I have run two variations of the 280X so far...

Gigabyte GV-R928XOC-3GD and the Sapphire Dual-X R9-280X

The Gigabytes run cooler, but only run about 720Kh/s while the Dual-X run hotter but cruise at solid 750Kh/s... I can try to post some screen shoots if you want.

I've got some of the Gigabyte's on order to try out. If they ever get released from backorder. I believe what you say though. I've heard good things about both.

These cards are so hard to get ahold of right now.
