Yes that's the main reason for the crowdsale, market support (supporting the price on exchange and creating more development to have more adoption).
Promotion with real delivering (but most cases, real delivering makes promo itself).

And what happens after the crowdsale ends?

Will those funds be used for market support or promotion, or something else.

We are at a little more than two days for the end of the crowdfund.
Social promotion is perfect with this coin, the succesful market ideas are known by person to person.
