Science is the engine of our progress, only thanks to the bright minds of mankind we are revolutionizing over time from the old system of society to the new. Science can significantly improve the quality of our lives. By inventing different technologies, we have a unique opportunity to change not only our entire culture, but also to affect the life expectancy, which is also important.
The bad thing is that often the scientists are not the once who reap the rewards for their findings. Later on when entrepreneurs put the puzzle pieces together they earn the money.
Exactly, no one likes being take advantage of, especially science is so important to the world.
No I think the reason is that the scientists know how to invent or explore things, but they don't know how to make money with what they found out.
Does Orvium want to change that problem? I thought they aren't necessarily doing this to help scientists monetize their content or is that what Orvium also wants to do?
eliminate existing inefficiencies and biases of the publication market and improve the quality and effectiveness of the publication life cycle.
The ultimate objective is to become the leading publication platform for the research community while returning the benefits of science to society.
It is not first and foremost about monetization then? Or will there be possibilities to make money with the content you put up on the blockchain?

In my opinion, such a platform is needed not only for scientific progress. Such a database, which will become available around the world, will strengthen the international relations of scientific institutions, will enhance cooperation and achieve a higher standard of living through the use of innovative developments. At the moment, the situation is somewhat different, which is only an endless debate about the copyright to a particular discovery, development. With decentralized platforms, the question disappears - the technology of the block system will not allow any illegal data to be illegally changed or to assign someone else's work.
Correct! The end goal is for the project to be of benefit to whole mankind, not 'just' researchers
