Orvium's advantage
The publishing market is highly oligopolitic, and authors directly experience very high publication costs (3,000 - 5,000 USD per publication) - so for researchers with fewer resources their only option is to target standard private journals. Also, the peer reviews done by these publishers/journals are not transparent, and there can be incredibly long delays from submission all the way to the publication (12 months is average!)
Rather than the publication owning copyrights and licenses of their research, it will be owned by the researcher themselves. Again, the long delays that researchers experience will be mitigated by using the Orvium platform.
Simply put, because it's open, transparent, and cost-effective. If researchers publish on Orvium due to being significantly better than traditional publishers, the reviewers who also are incentivized to use the platform, will follow.

That's totally true, my man! Orvium gives power back to those that are currently overlooked and gamed by the system. There are many projects in this space without any real added value and this is one of the things where Orvium truly shines.
