when POW will end ?
Having issues with wallet syncing. stuck at about 4500 to go. Any thoughts?

no PoW is still on. PoS was just also added. i fixed it and re-enabled it in the wallet. so if you have a PoW only wallet you wont be able to sync the PoS blocks so that might be why you are stuck

Sorry if I was misunderstood. I meant purely looking at it from a marketing angle. DOPE, of which I also have an investment, is restricted to smokers and the like, whereas THC is also akin to that market but also is attractive to the vast range of hemp products which can appeal to a much wider audience as well. No disrespect to DOPE at all but I am looking at it from the mass market angle with no demo-graph missed out. "Seedier" looking from the eyes of a conservative market...definitely not mine.
...As an aside it could have been someone with a large btc wallet who missed an 0 out and bought up all to 400 instead of 40 which at the time was a realistic buy.
The fella who invested in DOPE to the tune of 7Million seems also to have dumped recently with nothing but a small loss...might be wrong but the quantities are very, very similar..

DOPE and THC are both good coins and have similar coin totals. I agree that any price under 400 is a good buy. Under 100 is like wow! If any big investor or dispensary with a few hundred thousand dollars wanted to buy this coin it would definitely push the price up into the 5000+ price range where something like POT is.
There is a good chance THC could start getting used and become mainstream as more and more people learn about it.
Saw the 200% increase and came here to see what was happening.
There was a wallet upgrade last month thanks to some wonderful community members. Sorry I forget their usernames right now but I want to thank them again, they know who they are. It was from vegasguy and @griffith I think. Thanks also go to legendary member @groggin for his outreach in getting the update under way. This upgrade was done as a SOFT FORK!
No hard fork required.Then there was an update last week for a brand new docker image thanks to @jessecouch at https://hub.docker.com/r/hempcoin/hempcoind/
I haven't tried it out yet but it looks good. I hear great things about Docker.

This is one of the longest listed coins on bittrex. The Hempcoins birthday is coming up soon and it'll be turning 3 years old.
This is a great coin. If you aren't involved with it you should look at it again.

People use the word "dope" all the time! Shouldn't be considered a seedier connotations with the term "dope". 
Heck, there is a whole magazine around DOPE Magazine which we are actively reaching out to. Dopecoin's official statement on this large Hempcoin investment is to buy a large stake in it to purely control a pump & dump around it. A pure pump & dump play. Good to see investments in weedcoins though.required an official statement ... lol

I tend to agree with you. And so does someone else!
Why invest $45,000 into a coin with a barely active dev, constant delisting notices, no forum upkeep, badly maintained poor quality website, low trading volume etc. unless you have a plan or knowledge of the future.
I have plans, can see potential and have invested....but to that amount?

Removal was well avoided already last week... 46 bitcoin investment and 20 million bought ....strange!
Saw the 200% increase and came here to see what was happening but it looks like a pump to avoid removal.

THC makes it through another bittrex delisting! THC must hold the record for most delisting warnings without being delisted.

and then we are just staking for 45 days.... and WHAT THEN ?
we are waiting for 45 days to only be able to stack at 5% for 45 days, all that for that little ?
I hope I miss a point on long term staking with THC.
I use to stake other coins and there are not such limitations.

I hate it must wait 45 days. Why can't it do it everyday or whatever. The minting I dont like so much. I have some choof coin and it is 45 days too and it never staked st what it should have so that is a problem. With other wallets that do mining without minting you dont wait long is if something is wrong it is better then 45 day wait to see if its working again.
if you want to stake more often, it's fairly simple, and it will help support and secure the network ...
if you want to stake once a week, divide your amt of coins by 7, and send once every week for ~6-1/2 weeks that amount to yourself using coin control. after that is done as the chunks mature they will stake more or less once a week.
if you are asking why hempcoin doesn't stake @ 150% or wateva, well inflation can be a tough bedmate
personally, i have many PoS wallets on (2) computers, and i'm very glad the THC wallet only has to come out for fresh air once every 6-7 weeks,
