Does anyone know why heshreyt fell on r9 280x. Was 5.5 MH/s now, about 4.3 MH/s.

It fell because of the increase in the N Factor. Read the OP and then read about what is scrypt-jane (chacha), n factor, timestart and how it works.
In short terms the higher the n factor the lower the speed of your hardware because of the change in the requirement of memory for the calculation increases thus reducing performance

So what is the effect of the N factor going to 5 today other than me changing my miner? Also just because some people sell coins and drive down the price doesn't mean the coin is over. The price of anything is what you can get people to pay for it. They may or may not have sellers regret in the future.
I have nothing to do with this coin, but I'm sure they'll regret it. 6 Satoshi is definitly not the end I am more than convinced!

Absolutely not. The coin is starting to stabilize. The coin now has a very good core group of miners. It will continue to increase (nethash) and the coin will slowly gain momentum.
The thing to remember is this is an Nfactor coin. The difficulty will increase dramatically, and today is the first day Nfactor increases.
I'm mining it, and will continue to mine it. The coin is very young and has a bright future, but it's all what we as miners make of it.
