I see CoinMetro's wallet is support for deposit and withdrawal, would it be for all types of coins and tokens or just some particular ones only? The most important, high security is needed nowadays.

The CoinMetro wallet will support coins and tokens that are listed for trading on the exchange.

CoinMetro is thinking of collaborating with BitGo to process payments. This will make it easier for users to take advantage of numerous robust security protocols for access and payment validation. Grin

This is a very interesting project with opportunity! Engaging approach, irreproachable project, advisable website!

There are many projects with almost the same idea and differences in UI/UX. What companies do you consider as CoinMetro main competitors and what are the main advantages over them? Anyway, best of luck to the team!

Hey JohnPierson!

Thanks for the questions.

Pretty much every exchange right now is a competitor to CoinMetro.

There are a few features that set CoinMetro apart:

  • The TAM and ETCF (Section 3.3 of the CoinMetro Whitepaper)
  • Low fees: CoinMetro CEO Kevin Murcko has spoken at length on how the fees on exchanges in these early days of crypto are exorbitant. CoinMetro aims to offer the lowest fees in the industry.
  • Customer Service - FXPig has a great track record of offering the best customer service in the FX world. CoinMetro wants to bring this world-class service to the crypto world.
  • A lively community of passionate Passengers who are onboard with CoinMetro and who, as early customers, help the team build the tools they would love to use.

This is a short list, but I encourage you to check out the Updates Channel that contains highlights from AMAs, and other updates as well.

And if you have any questions, please feel free to join the Telegram Community where we're here to help 24/7!

Have one more question to ask then i am out but i am to lazy to follow ama Grin why dont coinmetro team just mint coins so people can already trade them on exchanges like idex instead waiting for own exchange that is being constantly delayed?

Regarding this, and from Kevin on Telegram:

Initially, XCM will be tradable on our own exchange. Listing a token on multiple exchanges is actually counterproductive. Given the limited supply by its design it is an illiquid asset, so spreading it thinly across multiple venues simply makes more illiquid, and as most volume will be on the sell side initially, this simply leads to more downward pressure.

Also, keep in mind, CoinMetro has a specific strategy in place for the long-term stability of the XCM price, see here; https://coinmetro.com/whitepaper/#long-term. This strategy is not as effective if we allow the token to be traded on external platforms.

Thanks for answering but listing it on their own exchange will pretty much do the same thing because when exchange is launched there will be masive dump done by those who bought in on the presale at lower prices, this will happen for sure doesnt really matter where you list it.Anyway i guess we will just have to wait and see Smiley
