CoinMetro Hosts AirDrop Campaign To Augment Presence

CoinMetro is hosting an Airdrop Campaign which is currently underway. Qualified supporters will receive 68 XCM, which includes any presale or public sale participants. New participants can also join but must donate 1 XCM or a minimum of 1 ETH or equivalent in order to qualify.

Airdrop Process

In addition to either donating or being a participant in the presale or public sale, users must go through KYC procedures, a process that can take up to 30 days to verify. While the airdrop ends April 15th, participants should expect tokens to be sent to their wallets sometime between June 20th and July 1st.

The airdrop is open for the first 10,000 who apply, so if all the participants of the presale and public sale enter, this leaves little space for new participants. Those interested in looking to join the airdrop campaign should do so soon.

Why does verification take so long on your site? I wait about 3 weeks.

Are you a US resident? The Applications from USA and the countries from the OFAC (extended) lists are not being processed until we get a clear interpretation how to proceed with them. Please continue to be patient.

Otherwise, as you likely heard in the recent update from this past week, the official KYC module should be ready in the coming week. So hopefully, that will take care of the issue (Unless you are OFAC or USA, that has not set date).

So you will launched exchange on 27th April? Or what you mean by "all equipment should be installed by then." ?

That is referring to setting up the new office.

The current expectation is that the Beta platform will be launched this month, but due to delays on visas for some devs, the date might have to be pushed. Details regarding that should be released towards the end of the month.

wow, 50 employees @ CoinMetro + Estonian eWallet and Fiat Crypto Exchange licenses on the way according to the newsletter:
Quote
Things are moving along fast at CoinMetro, and we wanted to send an update to all of our contributors to let you know what’s going on. Our network of supporters is still growing, and we’re excited to welcome aboard new contributors who rode in on the Airdrop train!

As the CoinMetro community continues to grow, so does the CoinMetro team. We’ve recently brought on two new hires in our Tallinn Offices, an Accounting and Control Manager as well as a Global Content Director. We are also expanding our Mexico based Support Offices, adding a new support staff member this week. We’re building up our company footprint both in the digital realm and at strategic physical locations worldwide. CoinMetro has grown from an idea to a multinational enterprise employing over 50 people in less than nine months and the growth is not stopping here.

We are maximizing our efforts to hire and train the best support staff in the industry, as support is, and will always be a key focus at CoinMetro. Even now as we build out our current support infrastructure in Estonia, Mexico, and soon in Ukraine, our customer support staff has received a litany of praise from our ever growing community of clients and contributors, and we're doing everything we can to make sure this only improves over time.

CoinMetro has continued to take a proactive approach towards regulatory compliance. We’ve submitted the final documentation for our Estonian eWallet and Fiat Crypto Exchange licenses, and we’re currently waiting for final approval which is guaranteed, if all goes well, within a 30 day period. We are also working on finalizing our ‘regulatory roadmap’ which will act as a guideline for our regulatory push over the next 12 to 24 months. With the current shift in the industry toward regulated exchanges this is of vital importance and one of the most critical aspects of our business.

For those who missed it, here is a quick summary of the today's 10 minute update on Telegram from Kevin!

- On 27 April we will move into the office - all equipment should be installed by then.
- New support staff, new hires.  Changes in the hierarchy: COO/CMO roles: people wanted, positions are open!
- Right now there are on staff: 11 in Estonia, 7 in Mexico, 5 in Macedonia.  Starting the setup of the support office in Ukraine. Looking at 24 people initially for 3 shifts of 24/7 support.
- 80 people when exchange goes live.
- Dev side: testing exchanges - other exchanges only have price updates twice per second, which is ridiculously slow. Also, stress testing own matching engines.
- Updates thin because a lot of work behind the scene, lots of people wearing many hats.
- Team is looking to be structured and set for 3-5 years ahead to prevent any regulatory surprises.
- KYC still not official, normally it will be in the next 48h. Tomorrow there will be an official OFAC list. At this moment, most KYC applications are approved within minutes.
- In the coming days, Kevin will be micromanaging marketing, support and dev.
- Tomorrow there will be a marketing update. On Friday a support update, this weekend a developer update. Patience please, we are working.
- Marketing: more details tomorrow.
- E-mail updates: towards end of the month structured updates via mail. More e-mail updates once the Global Content position begins on the 25th of April.
- Trains squeak when pushing out of the station! But once the train gets going, we gonna steamroll 🙂

And of course, you can listen for yourself here:

In addition to appealing to new and casual users, our trading platform will be equipped with a robust tool-set designed to meet the needs of professional investors. CoinMetro will offer customizable charting and analytics, support for a range of order types, lending options, and margin trading, here more akin to platforms like Bitfinex and Poloniex, but with a much cleaner UI, no reliance on Tether, more reliable uptime, progressive regulatory footprint, and transparent company policies.

I'm wondering if this token can be paid anonymously? Is he in the Ethereum Anonymizer?

Not sure exactly what you'd like to know either, however, to be able to access your tokens you have to pass KYC
