If your coins are in a desktop wallet that is fine, the procedure for claiming an address can be found in the pre ANN here

claimed addresses verified before the swap, will be added to the genesis block, you will have your UBQ as soon as mining begins.

unclaimed coins will be kept in a multisig wallet held by the team, addresses claimed after the swap, will still receive their coins long into the future.

Our primary focus in the days after launch, is the network, not the market. It will reopen once the network is proven to be stable. We expect this period to be a number of days but less than a week.

Bittrex will close the JBS market at 00:01 on the 28th (PST). Jumbucks balances on bittrex will be automatically be swapped to Ubiq at a 1:10 ratio (1JBS = 10UBQ). If you have a balance of 1,000JBS pre swap, post swap you will have 10,000UBQ.

The UBQ market will not open until after the launch and the network has stabilized. The launch will be taking place on the 28th at 12:00 (PST).

I hope this clears up any confusion.

In regards to cryptopia, please withdraw your coins before the 28th. Either to an address you have claimed via the claim form, or to bittrex.
what would be order of time in which network would (expected to) stabilize and trading begins, would it be hours, days ?

Why there is no announcement from the swap from Bittrex?

JBS do not understand the process of exchange on UBQ. I have a little bit on the stock exchange as an exchange Cryptopia.nz  will happen?. you need to pull all the coins to exchange on your wallet and wait for the exchange?    sorry  my  english    Smiley

If your coins are on cryptopia you will need to move them to bittrex, or withdraw to a desktop wallet before ubiq launches. If in a desktop wallet, you can submit the claim form before or after the launch, when swapped balances are calculated from the same block either way. All claims submitted before launch, will become part of the genesis block.

Let's specify once again.

When trade are stopped. (it will be on January 28? Or when?)
Coins which I store on bittrex in my purse automatically will turn into UBIQ?
And I don't need to do any actions? Right?

Alex Sterk, the host of blocktalk is our official community manager.

Will the coins on exchanges be swapped automatically there or do we have to take them off the exchange?

Coins on bittrex will be swapped automatically.

i thnk this is great project, i will prepare myself to mining it.
anyway, if this is smart contract with same algo with ethereum, what the special of this coin ?
give me some reason to mining it  Smiley

A number of technical changes are mentioned in top post, all of which Ubiq is the first to implement in an eth based codebase. There are also other changes we didnt feel were big enough to make the ANN, such as changes to uncle rewards. Read about this here

Something I hear very common when talking to various companies about blockchain technology is 'We are very interested in ethereum, but there is too much uncertainty to risk basing our day to day operations on its blockchain'. This is understandable given its been a pretty rough ride, bugs are to be expected when innovating at the pace the eth team have been. This is where Ubiq comes in, our goal is to provide a stable platform that offers the same functionality as ethereum that companies can rely on. This will be achieved by taking a very cautious approach to adding any new code. The changes we have made, have been thoroughly tested over the last 6 months in a series of public test builds, all of which are focused on scaling and stability.

We also have a great team behind the platform, as well as some strategic partners.

Right now the focus is the launch, however we have a lot in the works. Expect more announcements post launch as things come to fruition.

If you need a Chinese translation into Mandarin for your thread please do let me know as I am a licensed translator and Interpreter. I set aside my weekends for translation purposes, if there is a need and bounty available. I must admit I do like the logo as it looks very business-like and professional, good job!

You have the same name for your project and this can be cause of confusion and misunderstanding in your good intentions.

Its me Sulfurtank. Dont u think ur big assed and well-boobed smart contracts have become obsolete and should be replaced with something else? U can introduce a dumb contract to model a new type of network infrastructure and make money off it. Develop it urself and let people know its urs, thereby unique creation that no one else can copy or replicate into less popular project, as such u will succeed as dumbass asset maker, but never copy the work of others if u dont wanna be put behind bars.

the bedrock of open source development is taking previous work and improving it.
